This is/would be a deal breaker for me if I was looking at profiles, but I'm not good at lying, so I had to list my status as separated. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I love to cook. It has taken me years to embrace this. I hated cooking when I was younger. I would have rather been under the car fixing it (and I was) than learning how to cook (my brother excommunicated me from our Italian family at one point because I bought sauce, did nothing to doctor it up with seasoning and thought it tasted fine...I've also been known to just open a can and eat directly out of it-If that grosses you out, stop reading. I'm a great camper!). However, with food allergies and a kid with them too, I crave good tasting food and want to eat without the fear of getting sick, so I decided to become a great cook. I have always loved to bake. It's a magical stress relief. There is something about beating butter and brown sugar that when combined with the right amount of vanilla act like magical fairy dust.
I enjoy coffee (every morning-though not always leaded). I LOVE Thai food. I am gluten free (which really put a damper on the enjoyment of beer. So now I'm dappling in wine tasting with friends).
A few years ago I crawled out from under the rock I'd been living under and took a rock climbing course. For a person with a huge fear of heights that was a big step : ) Believe it or not, climbing is very relaxing and provides an inner peace usually reserved for my bicycle. I've made some great friends. They've all said they will screen future dates, so we'll likely need to go rock climbing or just swing by to see if I can get you on a wall at some point :)
