Meet single man from San Luis Obispo, United States. I'm a big-city guy living in a small (but beautiful) college town; very much a fish out of water. It's a challenge to meet singles here; at the same time, they say that good things come to those who wait. Well the wait is over, and now it's time to put it out there and make things happen.
Being an introvert, I'm very self-aware and extremely intuitive. But I've been told once or twice that I need to expand on who I am, my wonderful qualities, and what I'm seeking. I've been told that, when I open up, I have a warm, inviting and nurturing personality. I leave that for others to decide, but I'm humbled and grateful that those with whom I open myself up to view me in this light. Hidden treasures can be where one least expects them.
I tend to stay focused on the various projects that are floating within and around me, but I also like letting my guard down and get very playful for the right people. I like to stay active and busy. I'm sort of a jack-of-all-trades with computer technology, but I also teach and educate non-techies as well.
My true passion is music, and I'm enjoying that aspect as a radio DJ and an aspiring club DJ. My love for music is deep within my being; I'm a fan of soul, funk, jazz, world, house, and an amalgamation of the above. I love sharing the music, and I enjoy collecting records as well. The international contacts I've made helps aid this endeavor tremendously. I also write music reviews for a well-respected music magazine, and I'm showered with new releases that are gifts for my musical soul. Needless to say, music is food for my soul.
I'm just as comfortable watching a DVD as I am going out to the movies (audience participation is a cool thing). I love, love, love music, and I'm open to a variety of them even though my musical focus tends to veer in fairly specialized directions. Live shows are the best, so I'm game. I'm open to local events, and out-of-town trips too.
If you want to be outdoors, I'm there. The beach, the hills to hike, near the creek downtown, on a bridge...it's always nice to enjoy the beautiful surroundings as well as the company.
I thrive on lively and engaging one-on-one conversations, particularly in intimate settings. I enjoy subjects such as current events, technology, movies and television (seldom watch the latter), and you. Conversations that last for hours are nurturing, even if looks, smiles and touches replace words.
I'm working on doing more traveling down the road; I love the coolness of immersing in other cultures, see what residents see, and cultivate my inner global citizenry. I've already gone to Europe, Australia and New Zealand, with more places on my life's map to come.
As busy as I am, I'm seeking a beautiful indigo soul to help magnify our individual experiences. I fall easily for one's sense of style, charisma, character, spunk, wit, and intelligence. I enjoy self-confident women who too are in good shape, and have a sense of adventure, excitement and depth that they care to share with others.
You can be young or young-at-heart; wiseness beyond your years is a nice thing. It's wonderful if you have many things in common with me, but also wonderful if you have things about you that I can learn to appreciate. I'd love to extrovert to help balance out my introvert side. Perhaps I can share with you my wisdom; perhaps you can show me sides of you (and me) that I would otherwise miss.
In addition, you should have respect for your body. I'm an admirer of women with a healthy physique about them and I'm really attracted to this as part of the overall persona that she is. You don't have to be a fitness fanatic, either.
