If you have ever experienced Eastern winters, you know what I mean. I have to admit that if I never see snow again, I'll be fine.
I have been divorced for 13 years and have two adult children, who are now out on their own. We are very close, but they have their own lives too.
I like to stay active and to get out and do things. I love the beach and mountains and like to visit museums, craft fairs, antique stores and zoos. Yosemite, the Russian River area, Capitola and the Marin Headlands are some of my favorite places. I enjoy live theater, but don't get to go very often. It’s not very much fun alone. Care to join me? I love long drives, going nowhere special, with pleasant conversation. I like to drive down back-roads, just to see what's there. It has brought me to some very interesting places. I also enjoy walking around San Francisco, but it would be more fun with someone else.
I like to travel, but have mostly explored California and the U.S. I would love to drive to Alaska some day. A cruise there would be fun too. I am fascinated by the architecture and history of Europe and would like to explore that someday. I like to take weekend trips and would love to start sharing them with you.
I also like to stay home and spend an evening with someone special. Reading, playing cardsand board games, watching DVDs or TV, or just cuddling up with someone special are a nice way to spend an evening.
The best words to describe me would be 'simple and casual', and my tastes in food, clothes and entertainment reflect that. I am not into the bar and club scene and can't dance at all.
I am very romantic and affectionate. I love holding hands, cuddling and kissing. I have a good sense of humor, can easily, and often do, laugh at myself, and am pretty easy going. I like cultured, sensitive, compassionate, spiritual and physically active. I don't expect a women to look like a twiggy, but I would expect her to be active. She must not smoke. And please no material or blingers. But I do believe that a women should have a sense of self respect, as I believe you think men should too. I have no problem with women adorning themselves, for that's part of being a women. But when objects become more important then friendships and relationships, ummm that's not gonna work here. Meet a soulmate from United States. I'm open, honest and always willing to put in the extra effort to accomplish what ever is at hand. I tend to be shy but open up after I get certain level of comfort. I’m in no way perfect and come packaged with all my life experiences both good bad and in between. Hopefully I’ve learned something along the way. I can say that am proud and happy to be who I am but not all that great at tooting my own horn.
