Date a soulmate from San Jacinto, United States. I'm a very laid back guy who doesn't take himself too seriously. I love to laugh and to make people laugh, as well hang out with friends. I'm looking for someone with a sense of humor who likes to try new things.
My music tastes run from old school rock like Zeppelin, Styx, Van Halen, Supertramp, ELO, Rush etc to musical theater, country, jazz, and some pop. I love to go to concerts and have seen a lot of my favorite groups live. I also like seeing new and unknown groups as well as live jazz. I also love to sing Karaoke.
Let's talk movies for a second. There are very few movies I don't like. From full on chick flicks to crazy shoot em up action features or animated kids movies. I pretty much like them all. Some of my favorites are Saving Private Ryan, The 5th Element, Monsters Inc, all the Bourne movies, The Princess Bride, Sleepless in Seattle, and Mr and Mrs Smith to name just a few.
My interests run far and wide and I am not afraid to try new things. I’m a huge MMA fan, and I watch a lot of it on TV and plan to one day go see it live. On the other extreme, I love watching Glee, American Idol, The Voice, So you Think You Can Dance, and Smash. I also like History Channel and Discovery, so like I said, a wide range of interests. In addition to all the above I spend a lot of time in my shop doing blacksmithing, welding and woodworking as a hobby. I like doing small sculpture projects and just fooling around with stuff to fix up the shop. I also do some competitive target shooting, including cowboy action shooting and modern action and 3-gun matches. To me shooting is like golf but louder. It's about precision and technique.
I'm recently separated and on my way to a divorce. I currently share a house with my 30 year old daughter and her family to help them out. I am having a blast getting to know my 3 grand kids better. We got a huge house together that has room for all of us to have our own space but still help each other out. At this point I’m really just trying to get back into this dating thing. I'm not looking for anything long term or permanent yet, just someone to catch a movie or concert with occasionally. I’m not damaged goods or afraid to commit etc, just taking it slow for a bit. If I find the right person I am not opposed to a long term relationship, I am just not planning for one right away.
