Date people from California, United States. So I'm in Bahrain on my way to a meeting when I find myself walking past a military post and figure it'd be an awesome photo op. Just as I pull out my phone and snap the picture, the Chief Interior Minister of Bahrain passes by in a government vehicle, and the next thing I know my phone is being confiscated and I am being interrogated by the police... for the next two hours (though it felt like ten plus).
Sure, I've done the typical extreme sports like bungee jumping and skydiving, but I prefer the less common ones any day, like base jumping in Mexican caves and shark diving in my home country. I have never been much of a spectator (why sit back and watch someone else play when you can make the action yourself?)
Luckily, I have a background to match my exotic pursuits. I've lived and traveled just about everywhere imaginable – I was born in South Africa, spent some time living in European countries like Ireland, Denmark, Sweden and the UK as well as US cities like Chicago, Miami, Boston, and Atlanta.
I am a sucker for beautiful landscapes and architecture, so I enjoy changes of scenery more often than not, but my dogs and my god-daughter don't keep me too far from home for long. Despite the amount of air miles I've logged, I'm really a very grounded person. If I am away from a friend or relative who gets in a jam, I'll be on the first flight out so I can be there to lend a hand (plus I have my pilot's license, so the first flight out is easy for me to make)...
My ideal woman is – above all else – positive, with a spirit of adventure and an enthusiasm that matches my own. Because my client demands keep my carry-on stocked with 3 oz. shampoos, it'd be incredible if she could meet me at the more exciting destinations I visit and share an occasional adventure with me. If the thought of sitting in the co-pilot's seat while I fly you to the top of a mountain with a bottle of champagne makes your stomach flip-flop, we probably won't get along. If it sounds like this'll fly with you, drop me a wink or a message and let's see where life takes us...
Meet single man from California, United States. I've lived in San Francisco for the last 9 years and I can't think of a greater place to live. I'm outdoorsy and athletic - I've done an Ironman triathlon twice, marathons, and did my first 50k trail run last December. I also like to be lazy and hanging out at a cafe with the morning paper is one of my greatest pleasures. When I'm at home, I like to wail on my guitar and experiment in the kitchen with new recipes. I also like to Lindy Hop and Salsa. Ok, I'll leave it at that for now, we can talk more when we meet.
I'm looking for a fun girl who has a warm heart, has a great sense of humor, and is comfortable with herself. A girl who enjoys and appreciates the simple things in life, but is also adventurous and willing to try new things. A girl who likes to eat and dance.
Date men and women from California, United States. I am down to earth, ambitious yet easy going, clean cut, educated with an edge, passionate and playful, successful and enjoying life looking for some one along the same lines. More than happy to provide more details.
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. I decided to finally spread my wings and finally try online dating instead of meeting girls at nightclubs or bars, which is ironic since I get hit on frequently when I go out. I guess it is not my style or thing. I have a lot to offer and know exactly what I want, so let’s see where this goes... :)
I am not your typical average guy in that I am sensitive, yet strong to the bone. I absolutely respect women to the nth degree and am kind hearted towards everyone. I don’t judge at all and am always looking to meet new friends who are on the same wavelength, which means being positive and drama free with a zest for life and adventure. My friends and family describe me as intelligent, funny, down-to-earth, trustworthy, successful, ambitious, easy going, fun and last but not least, CRAZY!!! (but in a good way). Oh yeah, and that I am a good dancer. ;) I'm young at heart and love to laugh and have fun.
I grew up in Selma/Fresno so I consider myself a valley boy with worldly experience having travelled to various places internationally and within the US. I’ve been to too many places to list within the US but I’ve lived in San Luis Obispo for college and for work I’ve lived in Fresno (of course), Milwaukee, Cleveland, New Orleans, Sacramento, Walnut Creek, San Jose, and San Francisco (for last 10 years). Other places I’ve been to (internationally) are Mexico (several places since age five), Hawaii (Oahu Maui), Tahiti, Costa Rica, Japan and Okinawa (which I differentiate from Japan for cultural reasons). My next trip will be to Spain or Thailand…want to come? I came back to Fresno from SF one year ago to rehab my back and knee which were injured in 2010 in a car accident. I will say that one of my favorite places in the whole world is the City (where I still consider my home) so I visit often. I love showing off my old stomping grounds so I want to meet someone who is down for road trips to SF. If you live near the City and come across my profile for whateva reason, even better!
I have a passion for music and enjoy playing sax often. I am actually kinda good and hope to play in Fresno and SF (again) sometime in the near future. The dream is to become famous someday. :) And because I love music, I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE to dance my arse off! And any type of dance too…I love dancing to house and hip hop but I can also dance Mexican (Cumbia/Salsa/Merengue/Tejano/horizontal Mambo) and Indian. Did you catch that?
I'm a big foodie…AND!…I am a damn good cook. Bonus, right? I cook bomb ass Mexican food, various types of steaks, fish, hamburgers, and snausage (you like?)…which also means that I am a connoisseur of fine wine, champagne, and spirits. Lately I’ve been cooking lots of IndianMexican food (fusion) paired with Indian and Mexican beers and love it; my fam says I should open a restaurant. I know…that is how good I can cook! ;) As far as eating goes, I enjoy Indian, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Mediterranean, Italian, Vietnamese, Lebanese, Pakistani, Greek, French, and Armenian...and American (almost forgot)…oh yeah, almost forgot, Mexican too! I LOVE TO EAT! ;)
I am all about living life to its fullest. I'm hard-working, street and book smart, independent and am proud of what I've accomplished thus far. I'm a hopeless romantic that loves to love and give attention to his partner. :) If you feel me just a little and like what you see, try me because you will definitely have a good time and who knows, you may just fall in love. I am humbly looking for love and promise nothing but fun, good times and great conversation.
PS: If you are looking for a sugar daddy, I am not your papi…sorry. :(
Date someone special from California, United States. So here's the Cliff notes version of me if Cliff notes were a group of disorganized statements. :) I am the youngest of 3 children...all boys. Both of my brothers have kids and I enjoy the roll of "Uncle Michael". My family and friends are very important to me and my mom and dad are rock stars! (Not literally) I'm loyal, generous and caring to the people who are important to me. I'm a big fan of dogs, especially my chocolate lab Domino. I'm fortunate enough to not only have a career which I enjoy but it affords me financial stability as well. I'm at a point of my life where I want to enjoy new experiences and be more adventurous.
I'm also a big fan of the weekend getaway, the occasional night out on the town, mountain bike rides and hikes.
This is the part where everything I write really seems cliche. I'm looking for a sweet, smart caring woman that values her family and friends. A woman who agrees with the principle that we work to live and not live to work. Someone whom I can plan a trip with yet be just as comfortable with spontaneity. If you have made it all the way though my random thoughts and stories send me an email and let’s chat.
Meet a man from California, United States. I value strong friendships and appreciate people with solid core beliefs. I've now spent most of my adult life in the Bay Area and have a variety of friends ranging from rags to riches but they all have similar core beliefs- mainly based around honesty, kindness and respect for others. I think the way we treat everyday people is very telling of who we are as individuals.
Outside of these core beliefs I like to spread out my interests and activities. I don't like being pegged down by one scene or social setting but instead enjoying the diversity of the Bay, whether its hanging out with my Oakland rocker buddies, eating at some posh eatery in San Francisco or enjoying a naturalist moment in Marin.
As life moves on, I see the need for continued personal growth as a necessity. I seek a relationship where we retain our individuality yet support each other's existing and new endeavors. I would like to view the woman in my life as not just one person stuck in a specific time but a constant evolving and changing individual. This is the beauty and challenge of relationships. I hope to embrace this process without fear or hesitation as I mature into life with feeling and positive change.
Date people from San Francisco, United States. I'm looking for a nice gal who likes to laugh and smile. I like to bbq, snowboard, sail and go out for drinks with my buddies. I run to stay fit and I travel a bunch.
The best stories have some adventure, some purpose, some moments and some laughs...that's what I'm going for.
Meet single man from San Francisco, United States. I believe in true love and a deep connection - partners who collaborate while giving each other the space and the acceptance to grow.
I've been truly fortunate in my life. I sold my company when I was 28. Since then I've been splitting time between New York, San Francisco, and London getting involved in interesting projects and learning about the world. I'm hopeful, patient, and confident in the future.
I've been told I'm very witty, kind, and open. I'm a gentleman in the Old World sense and recently traveled to my family ancestral lands in the UK to connect with my past. I'm overly educated with a graduate degree but still considering an MFA. I'm comfortable in the City, the backwoods, or the back alleys of Hong Kong. It's a deeply spiritual, exciting, and magical place here and out there. Let's get lost, the world our backdrop. Before we leave though, coffee sounds perfect.
Please message me for photos. Thank you for understanding.
Date men and women from San Francisco, United States. You want funny? I’ll give you funny! Hell, I’ll make you laugh right now… BUT WAIT! Because I have a serious side too. I love to curl up on a Friday night with a glass of wine and a book to watch my favorite movie at the new neighborhood restaurant. And hiking. I love hiking! So admit it: I read your mind, right? THAT’S BECAUSE I HAVE ESPN!
Hello lovely ladies of San Francisco! I’d like to say that I’m new to online dating, but the truth is I’ve been on here for a year now with mixed to poor results, so maybe I’m just bad at it. People are so touchy, aren’t they? Its like I forget an apostrophe or mispel one word or start quoting from the Bible, and you’re on to the next fish. Sheesh! Paradox of choice anyone?
So let’s cut to the chase. Write me if:
- you're passionate about something (other than just eating or shopping), and
- your favorite books do not include the celestine prophecy, the da vinci code, or anything by ayn rand (trust me it wouldn't work out), and
- you're looking for the one, and
- you’d like to meet
Meet a soulmate from San Francisco, United States. I have lived in San Francisco for 14 years, which nearly makes me native. I'm a hard working, fun, serious, wry, reliable, Michael Stype blessed with a Meatloaf body kind of guy. I'm interested in cooking, windsurfing, learning a foreign language (though I am guilty of linguistic crimes against multiple cultures), reading, beaches, bluegrass, and dogs. I drive a desk for a living and am prohibited from dancing by court order. My friends describe me as kind, honest, and competent at lifting heavy objects. They also describe me as a conversational black hole. So, beware my oratorical event horizon. I do my best to be a good person, but I'm not running for Jesus. You're probably wondering - is he a vegetarian? All the good ones are. The answer is yes, yes I am. So if you want to date a man, but don't have enough meat for two - then yay! We're all happy! I also give massages that are just the bees knees. I own a banjo (cause the girls love 'em), but I'm capable of not playing it; sadly when I do play it, I'm not very capable of playing it well. I have eyebrows that make me look like I'm really serious (helps me with my child wrangling skills). I'm in no hurry. I want you to succeed.
You: tell me a joke that makes me laugh so hard that I cry and I'll grant you three wishes. You may have banjo skills. You run at life head, first pistols blazing and don't have a glowing rectangle in every room of your house. You will help me with my coat, open doors for me, and once punched a horse in the face. You still write your name in your underwear and don't have anything to prove. Smile. Alot. Not afraid of a dare. Don't own Hello Kitty outfits. Will tell me your real name once the coast is clear and the heat dies down. Won't ask me to email you a naked picture of myself. Don't have a better understanding of what it means to be a man than I do. I'm wowed by bright women.
Date someone special from San Francisco, United States. I've been in San Francisco for about 7 years. Like most here I love the city but I grew up with more open spaces and miss seeing the stars at night and deer in my backyard. So getting out of the city is as important as playing in the city. Whether that is a camping trip, a trip to Napa (big red wine fan), or a hike.
My friends have described me as loyal, fun and someone who keeps them on their toes.
I love my job (start-up where I get to work with my brother) and the daily challenges it gives me.
While it is a cliche for this site I do love to travel and have been playing catch up on my every growing list. My recent trips to Africa and Peru have only made me want to disappear more often for longer stretches to.......I like a mix of civilization and nature.
What am I looking for? Someone who likes to laugh and who enjoys a sense of adventure. Someone I can do everything and nothing with. (a cliche again but still true)
I am strong believer in meeting people in person so If you contact me I am likely to simply ask if you if you'd like to meet over a cup coffee or a drink. Getting to know each other by email is a good start but nothing replaces face to face chemistry.
Meet a man from San Francisco, United States. I am a Financial Planning and Analysis profession with a passion for photography. I'm looking for someone who shares my interests, is laid back, but also spontaneous. I guess I just want it all! I enjoy being outdoors and spending quiet time with the important people in my life.
