Date someone special from California, United States. I've found, in my experiences, that you can learn more about someone in 5 minutes over one drink than you can in 5 years working next to that same person. With that being said, I’m now supposed to wrap myself up in a verbal package of awesomeness by explaining what I’m looking for in life, what I’ve accomplished, what I expect from match, etc., etc., etc. I’d really rather not bore you with those details just yet because those endeavors are much more engaging when told face to face over a nice dinner… or pee-wee golf… because I will school you at pee-wee golf.
To make this as painless as possible, I’ve decided to list 12 completely random facts about myself.
1. I have recently learned that I dislike enclosed places. If not for my shoulder MRI, I would have been completely oblivious to this fact. Between the tight space and the loud noises… I’ve never wanted to press a button so bad.
2. I’m a science and history nerd. Super undercover though. Anything on the Discovery Channel, Nat Geo, or the History Channel takes precedence over whatever I am doing. Trust me, I don’t mean for this to happen… you better just turn off the TV if you need my attention.
3. My friends and family believe I am an excellent listener. Now, I know this is not true; reason being is because I’m not really listening. My psych classes in college bestowed upon me the ability to create the illusion that I was well absorbed into the conversation, leaving my converser with an overwhelming sense of relief from their issue. So, fact #3, I am really good at pretending to be a really good listener.
4. I adore my family more than anything on this earth and will go at great lengths to keep them happy. Quite literally. My brother and his wife are currently living in London. It’s a long flight.
5. I love all animals, but I have a soft spot for dogs. I wish to own a Husky or a labradoodle one of these days…
6. In 2010 I was on the front page of the San Mateo County Times.
7. Sour, gummy candies… excellent weapon for bribing me.
8. When the San Jose Sharks lose in the playoffs I go into a sulking period for approximately two hours. I have gone through this process for nine years consecutively. I keep telling myself it will get better… it does not.
9. I highly enjoy “thinking movies.” Any psychological twister that delves into the collective unconscious or uses one of Freud’s theorized modules is going to immediately grab my interest. Movies like Donnie Darko, Memento, Fight Club, Inception, and American Psycho are just a few to name.
10. I am looking for a serious relationship. However, I do understand that the backbone of any successful relationship is friendship.
11. I very much enjoy my job… most of the time at least. It can get quite gritty now and then.
12. I am so cool it’s ridiculous. I know, I know… opinion, right? No. Fact. How could it not be? I’ve been blessed by having a loving family and the best group of friends anyone could ask for. It’s our shared experiences that made me what I am today.
So, if you took my sarcasm too literally then you may want to continue your search. I do have a sarcastic and playful sense of humor. If you can laugh and dish it right back then we will absolutely click. I look forward to hearing from you.
P.S. I'm looking for some recent pictures... I may have to settle for the cheesy self portrait.
Meet someone special from California, United States. I love life.
I have been traveling for over 10 years. I am a native Californian but I have lived all over the country and experienced different cultures within the U.S. before returning back to California. I am a flight attendant and I travel extensively with my job. The time I spend at home is very valuable to me.
I am very easygoing and flexible because of my career but I don't want to waiste my precious time in the bars meeting a bunch of Douchebags so here I am on MATCH to try and pick and choose a quality guy to date.
I love stand up comedy and anything or anyone to make me laugh. I love to go running, work out, and I live a healthy lifestyle, BUT I also like to drink socially and I can appreciate rich decadent food! I do occasionally have a ciggarette. I am NOT the girl that orders a salad when we go to dinner! : )
My friends would describe me as funny, thoughtful, silly, honest, easygoing, and low maintenance. I live a drama free life and I want to keep it that way! Overall I am a woman who appreciates/ perfers life experiences over material objects. For example: I would rather spend $1,000 on a trip to Costa Rica then to spend that money on furniture/ or clothes.
I love the NFL especially the 49ERS!(Forever Faithful) I watch every game, every sunday and I want a man who can keep up! If you are a 49er season ticket holder you get bonus points!!!!!! and a kiss...
I am a hopeless romantic who loves to snuggle and be close, but I also like my space and I can feel smothered if you lay it on too thick, too fast. I am a minimalist when it comes to material things. I am happy with just the basics BUT I do appreciate finer things in life like fine wines and tequilla.
If you give a good foot massage you are already ahead of the rest. I loved to be touched and foot massages are always encouraged and rewarded.
I want to date a man who has money to spend BUT who is smart about saving it. NO cheap guys please! I am very independent and not after the riches BUT I want a man who is not afraid to spend a little money on life experiences...(travel, nice wine/food, a sporting event, hobbies)
I will say that I am not on MATCH to look for a husband, but I am NOT down for a bootycall. I am looking for substance.
I don't have children and plan on not having any of my own. So if having kids is a dealbreaker for you than stop reading now. Please don't plan on the hope of me changing my mind. If you have kids thats fine BUT I perfer older children. I need to be a priority in your life just like I will make you one in mine. And I have absolutley no tolerance for drama with ex wives /girlfriends. So please be on good terms with the baby's mama.
If you have been divorced less than 1 year please don't contact me. I'm not down for being a rebound.
Bottom Line about me is this: I believe happiness is a choice. Your attitude determines your overall perception. My faith in God keeps me happy. Everything happens for a reason.....
So...who's still interested????

Date a soulmate from California, United States. I'm a Nicaraguan born woman and I moved to the USA when I was 13 years old. So I do have a little funny accent (just telling you in advance hehehe). I'm a very loving, caring, sensitive and kind of goofy woman. And although Im very outgoing sometimes its hard for me to come out of my shell. So I'm looking for a very down to earth man who can make me laugh and can make the perfect partner "in crime" for me..Im really serious about finding someone I can start a new and awesome chapter of my life with.
