Date single man from California, United States. My friends tell me I'm smart, confident, and capable, but I like to think I'm also considerate, loving and protective of those I care about too. I've reached a point in my life where I'm comfortable with who I am, and am looking for someone who is stable, intelligent, and happy with who they are too.
I love the outdoors, and spending time with my kids. I love to travel, try new resturants, and am always up for something fun or new. Although I wear a suit and tie everyday for work, I love to get a little dirty too, whether it be mountain biking, motorcycling, hiking, boating, or taking my truck off road. I really enjoy a good movie, and I can't resist a game of trivia.
Although my career involves a lot of serious matters, I like to think I'm an easy going guy with a good sense of humor who is also fun to be around. I'm always up for trying something new or exploring new places...just point me in the right direction and let's go.
I was born in Taiwan, but raised and educated in southern California, so I'm a LA guy at heart. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy or appreciate traveling and seeing other countries and cultures. I've got a whole bucket list of places I want to visit. Care to join me?
I'm always up for meeting new people and making a new friend, so if you feel like it, shoot me a message and let's chat.

Date someone special from California, United States. Hi there! I hope you are doing well. I am now convinced that writing a letter to Santa Claus as a child was definitely easier than writing a profile about myself. I remember just jotting down all the things I wanted, whilst making sure I had been a good boy throughout the year. It was easy enough, right? Ah, the good old days. But, let’s talk about the present.
Dear special someone,
I am looking for a woman who I can be friends with and, hopefully, allow that friendship to mature and grow into something more. I want to invest the time to get to know you better as I hope you will do the same with me. It may be a little bit archaic in modern times but perhaps courtship may still have a place in today’s society. Among the traits I value are respect, loyalty, thoughtfulness, good sense of humor wittiness, and the willingness to compromise. On the latter, perhaps not always as sometimes YOU have to stand your ground ;-). I’m not sure why one of my sister’s favorite movies just popped to mind – the character Stevie Dee from Betsy’s Wedding.
I wish I could state that I am a Renaissance Man, I’ve climbed Mt. Everest, or invented some type of cure. On second thought, I take that back. I am more comfortable with who I am and what I’ve done so far. I have no regrets. Well, actually I do regret buying food from a street vendor in Siam Reap and getting sick. That’s what I get for trying to keep up with the Jones’. But seriously, I am very easy going and have a positive outlook on life.
I kind of live a semi-active lifestyle. I enjoy bicycling, hiking, on occasions going to the gym, camping, walking, and jogging. OK, maybe not so much the jogging but I do run races from time to time with my friends. It is peer pressure, I tell you. How so? I ran my first marathon on a bet I had nothing to gain except to put my body through hell and end up with blisters in places I could not imagine could blister. I enjoy working in my back yard although there’s really not much there except a few trees. But it does give me time to relax. Going to concerts is one of my favorite pastimes. I enjoy all sorts of music with a few exceptions (I’m not a fan of country or hip hop). Everything else under the music spectrum, I am willing to listen. I fancy traveling and this is something I would like to do more with a special someone; as there is a world out there that is begging to be discovered. As far as places I’ve been, if “Papa” Hemingway has been, I’ve been or will visit one day. Recently, I was able to yell “Guten Morgen Berlin!” a la Robin Williams stylee (Good Morning Vietnam), as I visited Germany and 5 other countries. So “dobri den!”
Family and friends are important to me, and it goes without saying that your family and friends are also important to you. I still take family vacations as I like spending time with them.
Alas, the difficult part of the profile. Have I been a good boy? Hummm, from what I told, the “bad boy image” is more preferable or appealing. I know don’t fit that profile, and that’s taking into account I’m an ex-Punk. Thus, group me into the L 7 category.
