Date single man from Ridgecrest, United States. If you’re like me, I’m sure you find that on-line dating feels so … unnatural. Yet, for better or worse, it seems to be how we do things these days. I feel that personality gets lost in the one’s and zero’s of the electronic age, that I’m applying for a job or trying to impress my college professor instead of winning the heart of another human. Having said that, I hope enough of my humanity and humor comes through ?
I have been fortunate in life in many respects - I have a good job, I never had to live hand-to-mouth, raised a great daughter who is married to a terrific son-in-law, done some traveling, experienced many varied adventures and things, and reasonably talented at many things. The only thing that has eluded me has been the one true companion with which to share life with. I have met some nice people on Match, even remain friends with some, but haven’t met the "right" one.
I am both responsible and self sufficient. I never have lived with my parents since I graduated from college. My credit score is stellar. (This means I won't ask you for money or leach off of you.)
I do believe in helping others (I just was awarded the volunteer of the year at the high school). I’ve had some great mentors in my life and I am attempting to repay the debt.
You better have a sense of humor! You’re going to need it around me. I’m full of bad puns and jokes. Of course, if I had good humor, I’d either be working for Leno or selling ice cream. My humor can sometimes be dry, but maybe that is what desert living does to one's sense of humor.
I enjoy social dancing various styles with my favorite being swing. I teach dance, so don't worry if you don't know how. I'd be happy to teach you. And, yes, my job as a lead is to make YOU (not me) look good.
Photography is another hobby of mine. It allows me to take the path less traveled, to see the world in ways the average person does not see it. Sometimes this means not traveling in herds of people, seeing remote places or common places but from a different view, or slowing time down to absorb nature and creation.
I’m not a jock (no marathons) but neither am I a couch potato. I will do most physical things (bike, hike, raft, ski, dance). This allows me to get off the beaten path and explore things/places -- and see the world from a different perspective.
I’d like to think that I’m intelligent and can converse about most anything – the sciences, arts, history, politics just to name a few.
I've noticed that some ladies on this site talk about having someone to trust and is essentially in their corner when times are bad. I'd like to think I'm that person. However, from my own personal experience, I remember having one of those negative life changing events and the person who was purported to have my back did a great job making the day worse. So it is also important to me to find that person who also has my back.
This is a start. If you have questions or comments, feel free to ask!
Let me address the one negative thing. I do live in a small remote town. This is because I have a well paying job-a commodity these days. Hiking, rafting, skiing and scenery are all close by. The Sierra are 15 miles from my front door. I don't sit for hours in rush hour. I can ride my bike to work without inhaling tons of auto exhaust. I do often head out of town and I would expect to come to you first.
Meet a man from Ridgecrest, United States. Laid back, honest and very open. Been told that I strive for balance in everything I do. I'm very goal oriented and once I set my mind on something I achieve it. Would like to find a woman who is thoughtful, easy going and generally fun to be with.
Looking for companionship and possibly more if I find the right person. Life gets boring without a significant other at times..and now I feel I'm ready for that someone.
I really love animals and working with them and hopefully the person I meet will like them as well.
Date someone special from Ridgecrest, United States. I am just a normal guy (I think. But my redneck friends think a bit differently). I guess that I do have a bit of a progressive attitude toward the earth and our societies. I believe that we have a responsibility to both our neighbors and our land. I don't get on my soap box often; I just try to live by example. If I could I'd rater be on the fringes of society then out in the flock.
Meet people from Ridgecrest, United States. I am an honest and down to earth person. I pretty much call it like I see it. I am loving, reliable and dependable and expect those same qualities in a partner. While I do enjoy the occasional trip, I don't feel the necessity to be on the go constantly. I also enjoy just hanging out at home. I like to dance, but not just the get up and wiggle stuff. I am learning to swing dance and really enjoy it. I am looking for someone that either already knows how or would be willing to learn with me. I enjoy having a beer and shooting some pool, but don't go to the bars just to go to the bars. My partner must also be a secure person. I have guy friends that I like to hang out with and I don't want to have to deal with jealousy or possessiveness. It would not bother me if my partner had gal pals. I will trust someone until they show me they cannot be trusted. I am the kind of person that will offer to help in any given situation, so it would be nice if my partner was also willing to help me if I needed it. I am really just looking for someone to get out and have some fun and enjoy life with. If it turns into a lasting relationship, all the better, but if it does not, then at least we had some good times.
Date a woman from Ridgecrest, United States. Hello…. I thought I’d give this web site a try. I just relocated to Ridgecrest for my career. I’m just discovering things to do here in the area. So far I’ve been to the Kern River and that’s about it. I’m hoping I can find some time to do some tubing down the river. I like the outdoors, movies, museums, camping, working out at the gym, road trips and just hanging out at home. Of course that’s not all my interests but I’ll leave those for you to discover for yourself.
I have a daughter 21, step son 26 and granddaughter almost 4. None live with me. I donРІР‚в„ўt mind if you have kids. But IРІР‚в„ўm past the point where I want to have any more children myself.
I am LDS but not very active at the moment. I was raised in a Christian (Lutheran) home. I am looking for a man who would understand my background and respect my beliefs and my familyРІР‚в„ўs beliefs.
IРІР‚в„ўve been divorced for about six years now. I didnРІР‚в„ўt think IРІР‚в„ўd be single this long but IРІР‚в„ўm glad I waited until I really figured out myself and the qualities IРІР‚в„ўm looking for in a man. IРІР‚в„ўd just like to add that IРІР‚в„ўm not interested in casual datinghooking up or a long distance relationship. I find it impossible to get to know someone that I can not reach by car. If you like what you read and think we have things in common send me a note.
I find the need to add a few more things. I don't talk on Yahoo IM with people I don't know. I don't send money ever. I do report you if your story doesn't add up. And please don't call me sweetie, pretty; babe or any other term of endearment.....that is reserved for someone I have a person to person relationship with.

Date a soulmate from United States. About me... Well, I am recently separated from a long relationship, so to be totally honest, I am not ready to jump into anything serious at this time. What I am looking for is friendship and someone who can make me laugh, likes conversation, having fun and sharing things together. If it leads to something more, well then those options will be left to happen as they will. I have been told that I am funny, energetic, honest, but also one that enjoys a quiet evening at home. I am an affectionate and adventurous person that enjoys life and learning new things every day and would like to meet those that are interested in that too.
I am grateful for my health and what I have accomplished; such as graduating college later in life and finding myself able to excel in two careers, but still have the ability to spend fun times with my friends in and out of town.
I am very passionate about my pets (I have 3 Keeshond dogs) and the Keeshond rescue organization I volunteer for.
As you can see from my pictures, I am an avid Zumba fan and because of such, became an instructor last year and have loved every minute of teaching this wonderful exercise format ever since. This is my second career, but realy it doesn't feel like that because of all the fun I have sharing it with my students.
If you are still interested to know more about me after reading this, please do not hesitate to email me - a wink is nice too, but I would like to hear what you really think and have the opportunity to communicate with you.
Have a super day and I look forward to hearing from you.
