I have spent the first half of my US life in San Francisco Bay Area and consider it my second home next to Japan. I have moved to Southern California 13 years ago. I love my house, but I would love to move to the cooler climate when the resale value recovers. I have been divorced for 3 years after 19 years of marriage.

I stay healthy mostly by being productive with a bit of tension from my work, doing Taebo and Pilates whenever I can and eating good food. Although my profile says Never for Drink (my body doesn't react very well to alcohol), my partner should/must be able to enjoy alcoholic beverages because my family and friends all drink for fun!! I use alcohol in almost all of my cooking by the way.

My Mr. Right would be someone passionate about what he does including his career and compassionate to others. He would be open to other culture and aware of the world other than where he currently is. I'd give high respect to a man who puts his words into action. There are a few turnoffs for me: Not being punctual, non animal/nature lover, being on drugs, and a couch potato.
My recent experience of losing my father taught me a great deal of significance of life that I had taken for granted. He taught me to live my life to the full extent without regret. I miss you so much, Dad....
