Meet a man from Petaluma, United States. I am embarking on a new part of my life. It is exciting and a bit scary at the same time. Right now, it is OK being on my own. I have come to terms with who I am and what I want quite a while ago. However, I really do want to find that special someone to share her life and mine together. I would like to continue enjoying life with others, while continuing to do new things with a life partner, which would bring joy into both of our lives. I enjoy doing outside activities such as sports, gardening, traveling, flying, and sailing.
I have purchased a house to fix up and sell. I have all the carpenter, electrical and mechanical skills to do it myself. Part of the reason for doing this is to build up a retirement nest egg. The advantage of doing the work, instead of hiring someone else, is because I can do it, and it gives me great pleasure to do things with my hands.
I have loved the idea of flying all of my life, and have begun taking lessons to obtain a private pilots license. This really feeds my need for learning. I never realized how much and varied the knowledge a pilot needs to possess to fly safely.
On a personal note. Initially I am shy, until I feel comfortable with people that know me. Then I can open up, and tell them almost everything. I probably tell more things than I should, but I guess by that point I've just become an open book.
