Date men and women from Petaluma, United States. I enjoy hiking and kayaking in the outdoors to rejuvenate my body and soul. Nature seems to un-complicate things for me. It is both beautiful and instructive. It puts things in perspective and simple. And I’ve met many good people that say the same for them.
I think of myself with the attributes of a boy scout, you know the “trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, etc” guy. Obviously life is more complicated, but it doesn’t have to be. We humans make it more complicated for some reason.
I like to laugh and have fun at whatever I do. Sometimes that involves laughing at myself, and others, so you better be prepared to be made fun of from time to time, so you can dish it back.
Music is very important to me and I try to attend concerts and events around music as much as I can. I've been known to even dance (after a little beer or wine). I'm interested in concerts-camping, but also prefer small local venues with local groups.
Each day I wake up is a new, excting day to learn more and a chance to enjoy this world. It would be nice to share it with someone special. I miss the tenderness of a woman in my life.
Meet people from Petaluma, United States. I suppose I would say I am reserved I am an excellent listener. I am looking for an honest open person to share my remaining time with that shares the same likes.Need to be able to communicate well. I am very concerned about the environment and political climate in our country and around the world. I hope my special someone will read my profile and we can ride off into the sunset.

Meet someone special from Petaluma, United States. I am honest, passionate, steadfast, considerate, giving, and caring person that enjoys a good laugh.
I enjoy music of all genres (jazz, pop. classical, rock and roll, latin). I love to dance (swing, standard or latin, salsa, etc.), enjoy good food and sharing it with friends, shopping, travel. I have had the opportunity to see many places in the United States, Europe, and Caribbean. I would like to travel to new places and revisit some previously experienced ones. Besides these loves I enjoy the theater, movies (out or on DVD), museums and a good wine with dinner.
I am a man of faith and would like to find someone that shares this aspect of life. I like a phrase that was used in the South years ago "seized by the power of a great affection", for it is a visceral description of an intimate relationship more so that the current used phrase "born again", for I see faith as the reestablishment of lost relationships with God, others and self.
The person that loves music, literature, travel, life and holds faith to be important and has a sense of humor can go a long way with me. It would be nice to see if you are the one.
Date a man from Petaluma, United States. ile'm looking for someone who wants to be happy, and not stress out on the little things. gotta be a little adventurous with a fun sense of humor. I enjoy a good picnic, good wine, a lot of laughter and a sexy lifestyle.
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. Friends and family are important to me, but I still miss having that special someone for a long term relationship. I'm looking for a good friend and lover who is kind, intelligent and has a zest for life. And that ubiquitous "good sense of humor" helps. I consider myself healthy, educated and financially and emotionally stable. I would like a partner who also fits that description.
I love the outdoors, and volunteer as a docent with CA state parks. Other passions include gardening on my little acre of fruit trees, veggies and weeds; writing; reading; walking my border collie and visiting art museums. I enjoy traveling, especially in New Zealand, where I have relatives. Now retired, I worked as an editor/manager at a publishing company and a web site editor.
I don't answer "Winks," but I will reply to those who take the time to write an email message.
Date a woman from California, United States. Words to describe me are: smart, educated, passionate, responsible, attractive, honest, funny, organized, emotionally aware, spiritual, loving, family-oriented, curious about many things and truly happy to be alive. Life is sooooo good.
In a match I'm looking for someone who is emotionally available, has figured out what he's about, is capable of listening as well as sharing, is honorable and knows that to get you must first give. I value humor, intelligence and the ability to be moved by any number of things on God's green earth. What you look like isn't as important as who you are.
So far, my experience in meeting men has been interesting. Starting to date (which is a terrible phrase to describe the process for adults) has been a surprisingly good experience for me. Because of that, I'm hopeful there is someone who will become a true friend and passionate lover. I'd love to hear from you.
Meet people from California, United States. Yes! It is possible to find a normal, intelligent, caring, down to earth woman that doesn't want to get sucked into the drama - or create it. If this is what you are looking for - so am I. Hopefully we can find each other. Life is meant to be shared with someone you love - and loves you.
I look forward to experiencing new things, to living life to its fullest. I bought myself a kayak for my 63rd birthday so I can paddle the Petaluma River. I got one big enough so that my rescue dog can join me. She seems to like it - at least she likes seeing all the ducks and wildlife along the river. I also got my road bike tuned up and have enjoyed some of the back roads near Petaluma. (Have stayed away from some of the big hills - but love to be out there riding.....) I have a great career that is winding down. In a year or two I hope to be able to spend a great part of every year traveling, camping, and experiencing new things.
My four kids are grown and on their own - but my biggest joy in life is spending time with them. It is so fulfilling to realize that they are doing well, with careers and lives of their own. Isn't that what the ultimate joy for a parent is about?
I hope to find that special person who will live life, not sit back and watch it. One that is active and athletic. One that will challenge me to be a better and healthier person, and one that yearns for the same in return.
Date someone special from California, United States. I love good conversation, books, writing, painting and films that make me think and feel, laughter, mellow wines ... preferably red ... and strong coffee. Love to cook, kiss, travel, garden, interact/exchange with people of different cultures and backgrounds, animals, nature, always music ... museums, the arts. Have eclectic tastes and interests and am innately curious. Enjoy long evenings in front of the fireplace, exploring, lazy Sunday mornings with the New York Times and you, thunderstorms and good olive oil ...
I am European born and raised, multi-cultural, multi-lingual and consider myself to be very feminine, thoughtful, warm, creative, sexy, sophisticated and easy going. I'm well-educated, well-read and would love to meet a forward thinking, warm, witty, loving and sexy man with an open and agile mind ... who appreciates sharing and intimacy, depth and breadth, quality, integrity and exploring all there is inside as well as out. Good hands would be lovely ...
Meet men and women from California, United States. I am proud to say that I am practically baggage free!!! I love my work and maybe I spend too much time at the office. People that know me would doubt it, but I am quite shy until I get to know someone. I love life and need peace..I am a country sort of person, fresh air, open spaces yet I love San Francisco in the evening, driving over the G.G. bridge at dusk on the way to dinner and a show. Beach walking with a picnic basket and a blanket. Auto shows, Boat shows followed by a new restaurant. A Tina Turner concert for instance. A gigantic popcorn at a controversial movie...if any of this sounds interesting, perhaps we have something in common, and maybe we could have some fun...Great things just don't seem quite as good when you experience them alone.....
