Along with health, family and friends come first in my life, then school and work. I live by the motto, "do what you like, like what you do" and am so excited to become an occupational therapist. I'm interested in hand therapy, wellness, working with older adults, or working with children who have physical disabilities. No matter which setting I end up practicing in, I hope to make a positive difference in the lives of people.
Another motto I live by is "work hard and play hard." My play usually revolves around food, people, and being outside - I love catching up with friends and family while trying a new restaurant or relaxing at the beach. I've really enjoyed exploring LA throughout college and some of my favorite places to visit include Santa Monica, Pasadena, downtown, Griffith Park, Los Feliz, Palos Verdes and Glendale. I love traveling and wish I had more time and money to visit all the places I'd like to see. I recently had a chance to visit Nicaragua and had an incredible time seeing such a different way of life and meeting such kind people. Running and sports are also big parts of my life. Running definitely helps me relieve stress and pushing myself to complete the LA marathon this past March was a great experience. I definitely don't feel like myself when I don't run regularly. I also love watching basketball and am interested to see Steve Nash with the Lakers this season. Last but certainly not least, my Saturdays during the fall revolve around Trojan football :)
