I photographed Huichols at 12,000 feet in the Sierra Huichols, and rural farmers in Tanzania and small businesses in Kenya. I've recently been going to Haiti with a group that teaches photography to street kids. I'll go again in July.

Lest you think I only go for third world travel, let me say I love Europe, and a dream is to travel down the east of Italy to Sicily, Turkey and Greece.
At home I'm living a comfortable life, with a circle of good friends. . I like cooking for friends. I'm looking for meaningful ways to use my retirement. Spanish lessons and piano lessons keep me thinking. I spend time with my 99 year old father, an irascible old guy, who is still fun and loves the fray of politics.
I really long for a thoughtful man who is grounded, who knows and accepts himself, who doesn't take himself too seriously, and has a certain humility. It's hard to describe what I need. I want a good friend whose interests and passions resonate, but don't necessarily coincide, with mine. A generous spirit, a compassionate man, who loves physical touch, and emotional openness.
I have one daughter who has moved to Virginia. She is a massage therapist and a singer, and I miss her all the time.
