There is very little anger in me and I do not argue. I meditate daily in the morning if possible. I am spiritual but "not religious". I studied Eastern Philosophy in college and then traveled to India to learn how to master the process of going inside. I respect all religions but do not align myself to any. If you tried to describe my beliefs they are closet to Buddhism than any other. Just like everybody else, I love to travel and have done lots of it. I have traveled the world many times over. I lived in Marin County for 10 years, Mendocino for 15, Kauai for 1 and Ibiza Spain or 2. I was born and raised in Miami Beach and came to the bay area in 1969. I am currently retired but spend a lot of time in Mendocino where I have a large forested plot of land. I love the country but also need my bay are connection. I created a 37 acre botanical garden called "The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens" and sold it to the city of Ft. Bragg. I am also a viticulturist and managed "foggy Bridge Winery" in Livermore for 5 years (05-09). I love animals of all kinds and am ecologically conscious. I am sweet natured but assertive and outgoing. I've travelled and served in the Peace Corps and know how much richness, discovery and creativity come experiencing other cultures.
I absolutely love waking up and watching the waves as I have my coffee. Coming home and walking on the continental borderline after dinner puts the day's work into appropriate perspective. The beauty of this world and the mysteries of the human condition are endlessly engaging. I try to live lightly on the planet. I love to laugh and generally find good material in my own actions.
I am a technology education architect at Cal and design and deliver digital training programs for journalists and media companies. The constantly evolving mediascape and accelerating pace of change keeps me challenged. Helping people tell stories that improve communities is rewarding work.
