Meet a soulmate from California, United States. My college roommate gave as her reason for looking for a “boyfriend” after her husband died: “I don’t see anything good about having dinner alone.” That set me thinking.
Let me begin with the facts. IРІР‚в„ўm 71 years young. I know, I know, thatРІР‚в„ўs a cliche, but they are born from recurring truths, and well, thatРІР‚в„ўs how I feel and what my friends say.
I love to laugh and find humor in myself and situations. Told early on I was a “people person”, I didn’t know at the time how to make a career out of that. Little by little I walked towards the healing profession where I’ve worked for over 30 years.
Questioning the conventions in which I was raised led to unplanned journeys down less traveled roads. I feel enormous gratitude and take very little credit for the unexpected twists and turns of my adventures. (I think guardian angels have factored in!)
I move around a lot. Some call it travel but I reserve that description for distances of over 300 miles since I have another home in the mountains. Most of my Travel around the world has been combined with projects or non-touristy activities. I've lived alone for a while now and have enjoyed doing so.
While I like young people and have often found myself with younger men, I would be delighted to meet young-at-heart age-appropriate fellows!
