Date single man from United States. HELLO, May I introduce myself? I am 5' 11" tall, weight 198 lb.and I am 72 years old,(2/20/39. I will let the photos of May 2004 plus the main photo of 2008, do the rest of the talking about my physical presence. I have been widowed for nine years, was married one time for 30 years, have a son 37 years old and daughter 35 years old, and in regard to my kids it is so far so good. I am a Myers-Briggs INTJ temperament, which means I am self-confident, and live in an introspective reality. I am gentle, good natured. I am more of a listener than a talker. Not controlling nor do I want to be controlled. I am more spiritual than a follower of an organized religious group. I would not want to waste Sundays going to church! I believe we are a spirit with a body, not a body with a spirit. I also know praying is talking to God and meditating is listening to God.
I was born and raised in Southern California, went three years to Cal Poly, Pomona, majored in horticulture, have been a wholesale nursery grower and landscape contractor in Orange County for 42 years. I prefer physical activities in nature i. e. kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, boating in the ocean. I can also enjoy the arts with the right woman. Actually, art is a real interest and I have tested strong in the subject. I am not a sports fanatic. I have only experienced three international trips, but would like to do more travel in the future. My type of music varies from Diana Krall, Jimmy Buffett, Latin Jazz, and the legendary songs of early country western.
At the end of 2005 I sold my house and nursery in Orange County. I moved to Lake Havasu City, Az. to keep one eye on my mother who insisted live alone in her own Havasu home. It took both of my eyes and most of my time in giving her a helping hand. In 2007 she went to the place where all good mothers go. I thought I would be out of Arizona by now, but I am still here. Durning the hot summers I go to California where I enjoy a small power boat.
What I am looking for at this time is a female friend to share common interest, common morals, and romantic passion. A woman I can introduce to my kids, and friends (lol).
