My reading runs a pretty wide gamut from fiction like Atlas Shrugged and Ender's Game to non-fiction like Freakonomics and Fingerprints of the Gods. I don't watch much television though I do love movies like Forrest Gump, or Gran Tornino (is it bad that Clint Eastwood makes me look forward to being old and able to say anything without getting in trouble).
Physical fitness is important to me, but I'm not obsessive about it. How can you be alive in Southern California if you don't enjoy some exercise and sunshine? I run a pretty good bit, and swimming is always refreshing (though I miss the warmer waters elsewhere in the Pacific). Getting out and going hiking is part of my job and I relish the opportunity to get out of my office.

I believe that chivalry is dead now days. You should treat people the way that you want to be treated and that's how I want to be treated. But then again who doesn't.
