I am the son of a German rocket scientist father and a registered nurse mum; raised in Phoenix with a Midwestern family value system which I still up-hold today. I am a creative man and feel creative in just about any endeavor in which I am involved ...from cooking to writing music to gardening. I love humor and wit and love to laugh, even at my own jokes and my own life. What a great gift it is to wake up each day, each one is so vast and so varied. In relationship, with others as with my self, I strive to be an honest and kind gentleman. I am Responsible and adventurous. I studied physics as my family wished, but my true passion was playing guitar, writing and producing music………I was one of the first call session guitarists for touring and recording in the 70’s and 80's. I still play write and produce for film TV and pop music formats but have many other outlets now for my creativity. I am looking to share this life equitably in a committed relationship. Date someone special from California, United States. Ugh this is hard lol, I've never been comfortable talking about myself. How much is considered bragging? Then again, if not enough people think you 're boring. I'll start with this, I have had many successes in my life some larger some smaller. Lets save the details for when we meet.
So being the risk taker that I've been know to be, I'll jump in......Gulp!
Firstly I'm the father of two of the best sons any man could ever hope for, they are ages 14 1/2 and 10 yrs 8mos. ( yes I waited :)) and they are absolutely the apple of dad's eye. I love spending time with them. I'm comfortable in my own skin, I'm honest, direct without being cruel or insensitive. I'm a good team player and always have my partners back and I expect
the same from my partner...... it's called a partnership right. I am loyal and honest sometimes to
fault. I can also be a bit of a hard head (my middle name as a kid I think) but that comes from being committed to what I believe in. I've been called a renaissance man as I have done my best to adapt to the modern ways of looking and reacting to things re relationships etc .admittedly some 'caveman' remains. I am the farthest thing you will find from being a 'jock'. I have been involved in 'Men's Work' off and on for many years and have benefited greatly from what I have learned. I am also in no particular order sensitive, sentimental, romantic, funny, sexual, adventuresome, spontaneous and I've heard that I clean up well. I am also masculine and like masculine things. I have been self employed most of my adult life and I like the independence it provides.
What am I looking for? Hmm. Please be genuine, honest, open minded (here's a question) would you ever get a tattoo, ride on the back of a motorcycle? That's not a prerequisite but I think it's telling of what I am looking for in a woman. I'm not into a lady that is afraid to get her hands dirty. I like the idea of my partner holding the other end of the 2x4 if I need help with it while doing work around the house. But she should also be feminine, soft, and smell good and I want all eyes on her when we go out. I like a fun, curious, adventuresome spirit, you can't beat spontaneity whether it's in the bedroom (or someplace else ;) either). Sometimes a last minute trip up the coast is just what the doctor ordered. The person I hope to meet is secure in that she is not jealous, possessive, or clingy. Remember I just said you can trust me. I guess what I'm trying to say is I want to meet a nice lady who will accept me for who and what I am, has the same values that I do, one that will cherish me as I would her and that will above all be my friend.
