I think laughter is the best thing in the world. Well, that and nutella. May sound trite, but there really is nothing like a great sense of humor. Sarcastic wit is best! I was born and raised in Orange County, and I have to admit -- haven't really experienced LA until the last two years when I moved up here for work. I have to say -- it's growing on me! I do work a lot (the pains of residency), and I love my job. I love my time off even more and try to make the most out of it by exploring my surroundings. I just started my last year of residency -- so the light at the end of the tunnel is finally in sight!
My family is closely knit -- I live close enough to where I can go home if I'm missing sitting around the dinner table and some home-cooked goodness, but far enough to where they can't stop by on a whim. :) My college friends are not too far away either, and they are nothing less than family to me.
