I have gained wisdom through making a lot of mistakes and have found that happiness isn't something you can buy or something someone else can give you, it is simply a bi-product of living a good honest life and being of service to others. I spent the early part of my life accumulating stuff, and one day I looked around at all my stuff and said I still feel empty, I do love the finer things in life, and am blessed to be able to enjoy them, the difference is they aren't my reason for being or my sense of self any longer. I have found that helping others gives me more joy and peace than any self serving things I’ve done in the past, so I spend as much time as I can doing it. My circle of friends is small but deep. We would do anything for each other, and we value our friendship. I know, can you imagine? Guys actually talking about their feelings with each other? Quality, not quantity I guess. Well, let's see, what else... I love to try new things and travel, my interests are varied and diverse, I have tried so many things and want to keep experiencing the world with a partner. I love to laugh, I love to kiss, and I can tell if someone is right for me at the first hug. A hug fits like a glove or it doesn't. I am looking for a woman who is strong and confident in her femininity. An emotional and intellectual equal, but who will let me be the man in the relationship. So many woman confuse strength with masculine behavior. Be strong, be confident, be opinionated, but be a woman. You can be the CEO of a company, but when the world is kicking your ass, let me hug you and tell you it will be ok...and believe me when I say it. I like opening the door for you, I like giving a little gift for no reason, or rubbing your feet, or pausing the movie unexpectedly and picking you up and carrying you to the bed for an intermission. ;-) I love that you smell feminine, and wear sexy frilly stuff, but save the girl talk for the girls. I'm so tired of people who can say all the right things, but when the rubber hits the road they let fear and pride and ego get in the way. Please love yourself enough to let me love you.
