I am self employed as a partner (one of five) in a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Firm in Carmichael. I teach Scuba Diving under contract to a local dive shop more as a hobby that has grown into a part time business.
At the center of my world is my fantastic family. My mother and three brothers all live close to me and I see my amazing 24-year-old daughter almost every day. She’s my equestrian buddy and a top endurance rider. I am always trying to improve on being the best son, brother and dad I can be.

On my Divorce/Separation....
I was only married just over 4 years. The Divorce started early in September 2011. Hopefully it will be final very soon! They should have a "filed and definately divorcing" instead of just "Divorced". Separated doesn't fairly project where I am any better than divorced. In my mind I am divorced, the legal system just hasn't finished it yet.
Previously I was widowed in 2003, after a 19 year marriage. I was blessed with my 24 year old daughter from this marriage.
