I lived in Switzerland for about three years and I speak fairly good German, some French and also Italian. Being there I traveled throughout Europe extensively. I also have been to Costa Rica on many occasions as well as Argentina, Chile, Venezuela,and Panama. Because of my work I also have been to the South Pacific in Tonga and Vanuatu, and then in Asia in Singapore Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Nanjing. Finally I go to Hawaii frequently as well. I have edited my profile a couple of times hoping I might stand-out or appear special. I was hoping if I could just say the right witty, insightful, humorous or sentimental thing that would give me an edge or advantage. But in reality I am just like everyone else - no better, no worse.

For those of you who do not know, I am a Fine Arts Photographer. I specialize in Coastal area themes. I am a very active Beach and Ocean type guy. Well, we all have our own Style depending on our life situation. Mine is quite different. At the ripe old age of 19, I was a Government Photographer. Exciting work (ask), but clinical and technical. Back then, I wanted to become a National Geographic Photographer along with 10,000 others. LOL! But, you know how life gets in the way. So, I went on, and worked a very hard and challenging career on several different levels (ask). There came a time when I no longer needed that career, and thoughts of my love of Photography at my desire surfaced and consumed me. I totally changed my life to follow the sun setting on a beach, and now I combine my last career and personal life into one.
As a Fine Arts Photographer, I travel the West Coast photographing Coastal scenes that inspire and motivate my Life. I photograph anything from Whale Tails in Alaska to Surfing Dogs in Southern California, and Sea Otters in Monterey to Hermit Crabs in La Jolla. How many other guys do you know who have photographed a Dog and a Goat tandem surfing the waves of Pismo Beach? I have met so many wonderful people along the way who have inspired my personal life. I have taught my own dog to surf, and I am teaching an abused 3 Legged dog to surf also. I have learned to SUP Board, gotten back into scuba diving and sailing, and have started exhibiting in Art Galleries. I have seen people cry, laugh, question, ooohh and awe over my photographs.
My personal life has been in transition, and that is coming to an end. I am looking for a Dance Partner in Life. LOL...I am seriously looking for a Dance Partner! I love to dance to my favorite band on the Santa Monica Pier under the Stars and Moon. They are a nine piece R and B / Jazz group. So, if you like dancing, all you need to do is ask. I love the outdoors and I enjoy the comforts of the indoors. Being in British Columbia recently refreshes my senses about the beauty and wonders of mother nature and her creations. Coming home to the familiarity of the home front helps me understand my love for the comforts but also the restlessness that draws me to travel and the sights of the world.
California is an awesome place with diversity and interests to perk one up around the clock I suppose. From the land sea and air since arriving 30 years ago, I have enjoyed myself and the opportunities of exploring its mountains, sailing its lakes and coastline and loving its clear skies.
