My friends describe me as kind-hearted, generous (to a fault!), curious, eccletic possibly eccentric) and spastic! Well, maybe not the last..I find humor in most things and am delighted daily by my silly, super smart, super stuborn, super energetic, super alpha female dog that I got from the pound; I'm her 4th owner-- for good reason! She was abused, and is super high energy and needs to do some kind of work every day; we have a great time since I'm high energy (read ADHD)! Given the care she needs,she super friendly and extermely happy and a FEROCIOUS watch dog! She's one of the best challenges I've ever met and loves to play! She also won the Cutest-Dog-In-The-World award-- 3 times! She truly is one HAPPY DOG and so am I! ;- ).
Now, back to me!! I'm at a great place in my life! I MEAN THE BEST EVER!! I am high energy, productive, and physical. I have 2 businessses that I enjoy and just started a new job at 3x my previous salary!!! I can work when and wherever I want! Yay! So... I love education, wisdom and knowledge and am naturally quite curious. I actually requested and recieved a dictionary one Christmas??!!! A strong extrovert, I enjoy intellectually stimulating conversations. Such as, the sub-atomic structure of wannabe butter and why dogs' wet noses don't freeze.. ;-)
I don't watch have much time to watch T.V. (and can't get cable or satelte) presently, just DVDS from the library. I'm not that interested in watching sports on T.V. It's much more enjoyable to get out and explore this heaven on earth and do my own sports. Although I would watch skiing, snowboarding, and surfing if it was on t.v; and I will comprise a little and watch some T.V with my life mate..I enjoy daily walks in the forest w/ my beautiful dog! To say the least, last job wass quite a bit different from my previous work as a 3rd grade teacher in a somewhat low-income,immigrant school district. .This job is also quite different from my Hi-tech marketing days in siliycone valley.,....
I've always been for the underdog, the deserving poor and oppressed. I've done some, organized, house-building trips in impoverished countries in the past. I love giving to those who can't pay me back and are deserving, there are many... I've been blessed with only one daughter of my own--she has 4 legs and a tail.... ; - ) I'm very affectionate and tactile with my loved ones. I believe mutual respect is critical for any relationship to thrive, and I tend to be protective. I enjoy spending time with my large family and many nieces and nephews. And I LOVE gardening; the deer around my house are happy about that...
While I've traveled throughout Europe, and Mexico, I have only been to a couple of other U.S.states. I have Africa and Asia on my to-be-done list. I've enjoyed cruises to Mexico and the Caribean. Proverbs 31:10-

Meet someone special from Nevada City, United States. Happy summer. So our snowboarding season is over -- and we are enjoying the outdoors in Nevada City. Have been down to the Yuba River and enjoyed its refreshing waters. Have also made it down to the SD Beaches which is always delightful... It seems like the heat of summer has hit. I'm a single Dad with two teens, who are with me a lot of the time, and also with their Mom who lives near by (and yes, we have a healthy divorced mature relationship.) I am a very active Dad. I have my own leadership development business that has me traveling the world working with interesting people in interesting places. This pays the bills, and provides lots of flexibility. We are recent transplants from North Coastal San Diego County -- and I still get down to our house there for work, time at the beach and to spend time with my aging mother.
My kids are growing and pretty independent, so after 10 years I'm hoping to find that special person who I can have a caring, honest, communicative, kind and loving relationship with. Emotionally secure, confident, and no drama is important. I have never been into the dating scene. I believe in honest communication first, and realize that at this stage in our lives -- we have full lives, so, I assume a healthy relationship is having time together, and time blending into your life as you blend into mine. I love wining and dining, (and ladies, I have heard the stories of men asking to go dutch, or split a meal, or want you to make them dinner and do the dishes.) I love to treat, and would love to make you dinner (and yes I do dishes too). I'm into a long-term, committed relationship -- believe strongly in monogamy, and rather be honest even if it might hurt a bit versus not telling the truth. I also am not a sex crazed maniac who just wants to get in bed on the second date.... Yes, intimacy is important and fun, but I am more "a take it slow type".... that first lingering kiss is ohh so sweet -- so why rush it. (I do love a nice glass of red wine, but am not a wino or pot head). Right now I am not sure what adult dating is all about -- but am very excited about the adventure, and opportunities, and excitement of it all. What I do know is that starting with some emailing, a phone call or two and a nice lunch or dinner at a fun/fine restaurant -- seems a great way to start. I have read some really interesting profiles -- there are so many beautiful, interesting, confident women with their acts together, out there, I can't wait to start.
I enjoy the outdoors, we ski/snowboard a lot, love the river, the ocean, love to travel. Like to camp a couple times each summer. Mtn biking, and hiking and flea-marketing are also great pastimes. A quiet evening at home decanting a bottle of wine and crafting a delicious dinner together. Warming by the fire, watching a movie.
I love movies (all types), reading, love to bake and cook. Reading by the fire, the theater, outdoor music, good coffee and nice red wine and of course chocolate are also part of a well grounded life.
I am looking for someone who is accepting, and kind, and loves adventure and just being able to chill. Chemistry is important to me, and honesty, and open communication. I love women who are self confident, care free, love to laugh, be serious and silly in the same conversation, love adventure and the outdoors. Its hard to describe as woman are all so magnificent... Date a man from Nevada City, United States. I am extravert, type A with a wicked sense of humor and high intelligence. That doesn’t mean that I’m looking for an extremely talkative mate, but certainly we need to be able to communicate so we can get to know each other at the deepest level.
I was always kind of the class clown but a jock, and not you’re typical Jock because I got along with pretty much everyone regardless of how they may have been classified by others - nerds, stoners, etc. If they had good qualities I usually picked up on that first - still do today, it's a natural tendency for me to profile people a little bit.
I have always been a great Sales person from the age of ten (10) when I started my paper route and continued that with other jobs along the way. Developed into somewhat of a leader over time - started my first business as a junior in HS, it was a Landscape business in an upper class neighborhood which allowed me to make enough money to attend a Private College.
I'm very funny but in a spontaneous way, situational so my bedside manner as it may is pretty good and genuine, I'm not a b.s. artist because I'm big on the truth so my core values will never allow me to deviate from that line.
I am a well-grounded person due in part to my great Mother who recently passed earlier this year.
If things aren’t a good match in the first few minutes of meeting each other then it’s easy to call it a bad match, but if there is a MAYBE, we should schedule another time to get together pursuing some identical common interest – like Tennis, Dinner, or whatever!
