Date people from Murrieta, United States. I guess I'm here because trying to meet someone the 'normal' way just doesn't seem to work anymore. Going to a bar full of drunks and trying to have an intellectual conversation just doesn't work, and going to a club to have any kind of conversation is just about impossible without yelling in someone's ear. Other than that there aren't a whole lot of social places that don't involve alcohol and raucous music so here's to giving something new a try.
I'm about as honest as they come, I know it's hard to believe that coming from an online dating site but it is what it is. I don't have a reason to lie about anything in my life, I might keep some things to myself if I don't feel comfortable talking about them but for everything else it's an open book. I've always abhorred drama and anyone who's wrapped up with what other people say about this or that, life is simple and it should be fun. I like going out, meeting people that are interesting, and having a real conversation with real people. I'm pretty quick when it comes to jokes and making people laugh but terrible at starting a conversation from thin air, especially sitting in front of a computer.
I'm pretty sarcastic and love to joke around and that's just me. Sometimes my humor is inappropriate, most of the time it's respectful, and yes...sometime things sound funnier in my head than they do when I say it. But hey, it's better than not saying anything at all. After all, life's too short to be serious all the time, or to be scared of taking a chance.
Music is another huge thing. I'm constantly listening to music when I'm doing work, going for a ride, taking a nap, taking a shower or just lounging about wondering what to listen to. You'll be hard pressed to find a genre that I don't enjoy, except maybe polka...but I'm working on it. Just not very hard.
Books! I used to stay up at night when I was a kid and read under my blanket with a flashlight so I wouldn't get caught. I'm pretty sure I spent more time with my nose in a book than I did in front of the television...(which is probably why I've never seen the Godfather series...or Scarface...Star Wars...but I saw Pulp Fiction recently! That should count for something.) Watership Down is one of my favorites from when I was a kid. I got into Stephen King for a while which is pretty good. Philip Pullman, good stuff. I don't really stay up to date with trending books, just things here and there that I find. Lately I've been digging around some psychology books and some old classics like The Count of Monte Cristo.
The rest is waiting on you to be found out. I know I have plenty to offer; whether it be comedic wit, deep conversations, or just plain old banter at the bar there's plenty yet to be discovered. And if I'm just not your type, no worries. Life goes on and I know I'm well worth it. :)

Here's a little bit about me: I moved to California from New Jersey 6 months ago and no, I do not look like someone from the Jersey Shore nor do I care about them at all lol. Being out of school, working full time, and not knowing anyone here makes it difficult to make friends and meet people :). I am an extremely open person and believe in trying everything at least once. On my days off, you will find me hiking, going to the beach, taking my dogs for a walk, or just sitting outside reading a book or a magazine. I also enjoy watching a good movie, listening to music, or just relaxing around the house. I love going to new places, doing new things, and meeting new people. My two dogs and my cat are very important to me and very much a part of my life. I'm adaptable, honest, transparent, loyal and enjoy times in the outdoors and on/in the water as much as I do my home. I love great music (especially country); in fact I always have music on, even when i shower! Bbqs, pool days, lunch & a movie with my Mother, adventures around Southern California with my best friend, family parties, a great book, green iced teas, every apple gadget I can afford... i want them all! Blue moons, summer, yoga, hikes, new places and faces, and people who make me laugh.
I am very clumsy. I will trip/drop something/run into something almost all the time. Surprisingly I am not completely uncoordinated though.
I believe in signs, and that things happen for a reason, but mostly I believe that passion is probably one of the most important elements of life, probably why I am on here to begin with... its not something you feel often towards someone else so why not look on here?
