Career-wise I was a mountain guide for 3 decades, a wonderful job that created many, many wonderful connections and experiences, real and metaphorical, in my life. I'm grateful I was able to travel all over the world experiencing new people, cultures, and adventures. It was a gift sharing adventures with a variety of people, and it always seemed to bring out the best in them (me, too, sometimes!). I love to laugh, especially at myself, and cannot imagine this often beleaguered planet without the gift of humor... or spontaniety, playfulness, and poetry, too!
The fun and adventurous already said, I also strive to be of service (Hospice volunteer, tutor, environmental causes, community projects, etc.) and try to make a considerate, compassionate, and positive difference in others' lives, as well as my own.
