Date men and women from United States. I took a short break from this on-line dating thing. It does wear you down. It is just so difficult in this day and age to meet someone special. And I am still not sure about this. So I am trying to be reflective and not reactive. Being an action person and always being responsible for me this is somewhat of a frustrating thing.. Who knows. All of this on here is just a cover of a book and talking to the person, asking questions...reading the story is where it all begins..but getting past the cover here is difficult.
I am what I say and who you see. I take good care of myself in all ways. I am a happy, caring, honest, nice person. I am have read and studied lots of things and have lots of trivia on my finger tips. I probably would do well on Trivia show. Usually find something to enjoy in any situation or opportunity. I take care of myself, have my own house and a good life. But I would enjoy sharing it with a nice man who is up for an adventure.
Warning!!!!!!! However I am being to think that being a nice person is an invitation to commit fraud. If that is your intention please go elsewhere. I am also smart and clever and will not have stars in my eyes and loose my sense of direction.Just because I look like a nice person and I am don't equate that I am a pushover and easy to manipulate. I have worked with people and managed them for years. I am not going to say anymore. Because I do choose to look on the positive side but I do not ignore the signs.
I have spent much of my life connected to my career with both passion and dedication as I do with most everything in my life. However I like to do so many other things, fun and creative. So I am trying to enjoy the fun things in life more. I have always been a multi-tasker and don’t watch much TV. I really do many creative things such as quilting, wood carving, and embroidery. I do cook and bake. I like to have friends over for dinner and then sit out on my porch with a glass of wine and a beautiful dessert. I even make lefse….I bet you don’t know what that is; you will just have to find out. I like to try lots of things and am interested in most anything both intellectually and physically. I like to travel and explore. I have lots of energy and I guess could be said to be go getter...I think of it if something needs to be done just get it done and move on. I am a very independent person with things I want to do but would like to share the adventure with someone who is up to the task.
And I really enjoy being active. I like to walk, and hike. It has been a bit more of a challenge hiking lately because my hiking buddy a chocolate Labrador Retriever has gotten too old to hike much. So she just go on walks…short walks.
I would like to find someone who is happy and confident with who they are. I would like to be with someone who enjoys doing and trying different things but is also good just relaxing and doing nothing. I think it is great when two people are comfortable and easy with each other but at the same time can generate excitement with just a look or a touch It would be nice if they have read a book or two and is aware of the world but doesnРІР‚в„ўt get stress out about it or is willing to take action to change it if they are going to complain about something. I guess I am traditional and would like a man to open the door and hold my hand. And I do appreciate manners and courtesy.
