I am 42. I've been divorced for 7 years. I don't have any kids but I do have a dog, and he is my spoiled baby! I have a great job and amazing friends.
I'm not sure if I am really looking for a serious relationship right now...just someone to hang out with do fun stuff with. Like catch a ball game or take off to the coast or the mountains for the day, grab lunch or dinner, or just lounge with a glass of wine and good company. Who knows, we might really hit it off and if so, we can see where things go. I prefer that you be tall and employed. I know that sounds kind of shallow, but those are 2 of my requirements.
I love to Bar-B-Q and bake. I don't claim to cook, per se, but I've been known to adventure into a cookbook and try a new recipe.
It would be nice to find a guy who is a little on the romantic side...a quick text during the day or flowers delivered to work (always a plus) or just a little hand holding or cuddling on the couch. That kind of stuff goes a long way. It's nice to be "spoiled" but it's also nice to do some spoiling. I don't think that should be one-sided.

I believe that things happen for a reason and that couldn't have become more clear to me when two years ago I got into a head-on vehicle against big rig accident in September of 2009. Thank God that I didn't loose my life but, unfortunately did loose my left arm. I would never say that I don't have some bad days, but the good ones outweigh the bad ones by far.

Ambition, drive, goals, are important even when your direction changes course sometimes (it should, otherwise you become stagnant) Go with your gut....put energy and heart in the right places otherwise you won't find true inner happiness. All the superficial stuff in this world (people included) just get in the way of all the super-duper stuff we could be missing out on. Like eating at In-N-Out Burger. Or getting hot pink spray paint at Lowe's. And spontaneous road trips.
So here I be, me.....and won't settle for 'this will do' or waiver from my true self for anyone (neither should you) but would love to find more of life with someone exuberant for the relatively short time we have on this planet. A man of integrity to melt with and breathe in and he feels heart smitten the same about me; some serious emf and mutual sanctuary.
