Well, I'm generally a pretty easy-going, easy to get along with person. I like to joke around a lot, but can be serious when the occasion calls for it. I think that it's important to have some form of creative outlet and a desire to continue to learn about things that interest you and to continue growing as a person. I am currently back school for a few semesters for computer networking. I also do a fair amount of reading and research about photography, nutrition and health, and quantum physics as time allows.
Physically, as you may have deduced from the metrics, I'm kind of a tall skinny guy. I do exercise regularly, but mostly do basic movements that involve only body weight: core, push-ups, pull-ups, squats, etc. So, I'm reasonably tone, but not at all bulky, if that's your thing.
As for what I hope to find in a companion... Well, I wouldn't want a carbon copy of myself, but it would be nice if we share some of the interests and sentiments that I have expressed in this profile. I'd like to meet someone who can shrug off the negativity that she may be exposed to at work or with her family or friends and get together with me and be present and be happy and smile.
I don't really have a lot of preferences when it comes to physical appearance. I don't care what color your skin is or how tall you are. I do tend to be attracted to a woman with a more natural look about her. I also believe it's important that she make some minimal effort to take care of herself.

Date single man from California, United States. A little about me: I'm most comfortable wearing shorts, flip flops and a hoodie but with enough notice, I will rent a suit. I am pretty active- 3 marathons (including the 90 degree Chicago marathon a few years ago,) a few 1/2s and 10ks under my belt, and have pretty much become a yoga junkie since I started practicing about a year ago, and I do the gym regularly. Friends have described me as someone who marches to the beat of his own drummer, and somewhat free-spirited. I admit that I usually don't go along to get along.
I am pretty much a laid back type-B. When it comes to my work, I'm a type-A perfectionist. I love what I do, and the people I work with, and sometimes can't believe I get paid for it. As Jack Welch once said, "If you love what you do, you'll never work another day in your life." I think that's me.

I'm pretty young at heart. I feel like I'm still 30 years old and I'm frequently told that I look 10 years younger than I actually am. Its definitely something I don't get tired of hearing. I like healthy living but for me it's not a cause. I like to have a drink, be it wine, beer or a vodka tonic. I like to eat and once in a while its not healthy.
To be honest, I'm not sure who I am looking for, but it always comes down to chemistry, doesn't it?. Women that I tend to have chemistry with are those who are outgoing, curious, active and adventurous and don't sweat the small stuff. She's someone who will wake up and join me for a yoga class but who also wants to lounge around in bed with me on a sleepy Sunday morning.
One more random thing: I would like to travel to Hawaii, or Cabo, or Thailand or the Caribbean or wherever and spend a couple of weeks eating, drinking, surfing, and scuba diving with you.

I love all types of music and depending on my mood, I listen to anything from Christian Dance to New Age Top 40. I think the finer things in life are great to have, but I believe that it is the little things in life that matter most, like leaving you a sweet note on your car, romantic moonlit walks by the ocean, and giving you a beautiful bouquet of flowers just because. I also have some fun activities such as motorcycles, sky diving, hiking and snow boarding, cannot live without working out (running, gym), and usually try to read at least one book a month. I do not watch a lot of TV, but use DVR to catch the shows friends watch, and like seeing current movies. I have flown to Vegas just to catch a show (gambling and partying like a rock star is fun every once in a while too), and like to hit Manhattan for new plays.
It's important to me to have good communication. That means more than talking about it. I feel the intention with which I take action and how I go about doing things means just as much as the act itself. It's easy to go through life being perceived as doing it all right, or doing the right things. This tends to translate into having the capacity to be honest, even when it's difficult, but still maintain a tactful manner. Living and being true to who I am is very central to me.
