Meet a girl from United States. Well, let's see, the online dating world is still very new to me. I tried it a couple years ago, it wasn't working out, so here I am trying it again. Im not really sure what to put here that's not described in the other interests sections, but here goes. :) I'm shy around new people but I can warm up to someone fairly quickly and I'm pretty friendly. I'm not one who goes out partying everynight, but I'm not completely against going to a club now and then if I'm with friends. :) I wouldn't necessarily call myself a loner, but I do better in groups of small people. I get a little nervous in a crowded place with lots of people I dont know, like a big party or other get-together; I need to have an anchor in a situation like that. Most of the time, I am very independent; I just don't have a lot of experience in social settings (although in the last couple years, my friends have been dragging me places to get me out and about, lol; last year for my birthday, they took me bar-hopping ... fun times). Once you do get to know me, you'll find I am known for fairly quick come backs and some sarcastic comments; Throw something at me and I will throw something back most all of the time.
I have an associates degree in Interior Design, graduated college March of '04. (I graduated 3 months after my 19th birthday). I work in an Interior Design firm in Danville at the front desk, so I see more of the business side of things, but I am also a back-up assistant and have frequently helped out the designers. I also have a little background in bookkeeping which helps; I worked in a CPA's office with my mom before college. I have a very analytical mind and it is both a blessing and a curse. :)
I enjoy going out to the movies on occasion, but I also wouldn't have a problem renting a movie and staying in. Um, let's see, what else.. Mini golf is another favorite past time, I dont think I mentioned that one in the interests part. I have been collecting police department patches (along with ATF, FBI, fire department, etc) for most of my life, started in '93. My dad and uncle collect them too and they got me into it, so its one of those things we can do together cause we go to patch shows a couple times a year. Along the collections / hobbies train of thought, I collect dragon figurines as well as some unicorn or pegasus ones, but the dragons are my passion. I guess you could say I collect books too, but that isn't as intentional. ;) I just have a lot because I read so much. To just list the authors I read would probably take a paragraph, lol. I don't know how many times I've shifted things in my room to make space for "just one more shelf".
As for who I'm looking for, I don't really have an answer. I'm not looking for someone specific, I don't like to narrow things down like that. I'm not going to be one of those girls that say "I'm looking for a tall, dark, and handsome man who makes lots of money" (of course, if you are that man, I wouldn't complain ... lol). A sense of humor is a must; Dad and I have seen and own every Three Stooges episode and have both been told we have an ... interesting ... outlook on life. Honesty and Trust are big as well. I capitalized Trust for a reason, it's very important to me; I have been betrayed a few times and I don't want to go through that again. Be straight forward with me and I'll be the same for you. Other than that, I really don't know what to say as far as "a boyfriend would need to have this quality" because each person has pros and cons that make them who they are. Many of my friends have different qualities, but that's just them, and they are all my friends for a reason. I try not to limit myself, especially when it comes to race, color, etc. There are good and bad people in every walk of life and their ancestry has only a small percentage to do with who they are and how they act today.
