Date men and women from United States. I love life! And I aim for balance in how I live it. Work has brought me west from NY and I'll readily admit to still missing that big city back east. Its really the relationships I miss most. Both family and friends, and those terms are fairly synonymous to me. I'm active, passionate about my work, optimistic about life, and have beneffited by learning little bits from all those around me. Fiercely loyal to those I love.
No joke as I am typing this I have an a capella of The Lion King on PBS. If that doesn't show my sensitive side, I don't know what does. I was watching something about the Civil War earlier. I'm from the south, its what we do lol. Well, yeah, the remote is over there. And if I'm being honest, they really aren't all that bad.
I have a huge appreciation for other cultures. Love accents. Love learning new things and sharing those things that I know (whether cultural or otherwise). I speak portuguese so any others out there falaaaaa!! If you are active/athletic, have a thirst for adventure, enjoy relaxing at the beach, think reggae is the isht! or otherwise just think we could have a good time just kickin it, I want to hear from you.

I grew up in NY and went to college and grad school in the city, but I now consider LA home and love living by the beach. I have a great job and coworkers, and I work hard to be successful. I work to live (not vice versa) and enjoy myself traveling, snowboarding, surfing(learning), running, and eating at interesting restaurants with amazing friends. I'm sensitive and intelligent - committed to my family and friends - always trying to provide support and energy to those I love. I'm very independent but also fiercely loyal. I find style, intelligence, sensitivity and independence attractive.

When I'm wearing glasses probably my glasses. People have complimented my eyes, and I have had several ask me where I cut my hair. I've been told that I am an old soul and look younger than my age.

We should really discuss this in depth but...
Movies: shawshank, usual suspects, akira, bourne, memento, etc.
Music: black flag to curren$y to built to spill to aphex twin to everything in between. music obsessed.
Food: vegetarian / vegan mostly but I'm easy to please :)
TV: ncis/law and order/csi (I'm a sucker for a problem solver), deadliest catch, fantasy factory, cleveland show, the wire, etc.
Books: siddhartha, the omnivore's dilemma, history, malcolm gladwell. etc.
What I'm looking for...
This is tough. The partner in crime. Common interests and personality. Someone independent and sensitive who has style. The electric attraction.
