Date men and women from United States. Who am I? Let me list what I do first: I work full-time in the Motion Picture Industry, I am an artist working in encaustics and printmaking, and I work with people’s night-time dreams in a Jungian sort of way(I will explain that later). All three of these things give me great pleasure.
Personally, I love life and I think it shows. I am playfully humorous, extroverted, but also indulge in quiet and contemplative time to look within. I believe there is a place in a relationship for two beings to experience a bit of solitude now and then. I am sensual and loving and emotionally available. I enjoy deep, lengthy conversations.
I am fascinated with and exhilarated by that powerful connection that I feel when I actually hear and experience someone else's soul speaking to me. Do you know that feeling? It is the best thing I know of. I think life is about connection and what you do with it, and I have learned how to listen- such a simple thing, but to truly listen is such a gift.
I believe I have a good sense of myself and It feels good to be where I am in my life now. I have learned a lot over time- about relationships, my failings and strengths, my mistakes and what resonates.
I have three great children I love and one granddaughter whom I adore.
But there is something missing, and that might be where you come in. I think that I have a lot to offer in a relationship, and I really want to share that with someone who can also open to the possibilities all this brings.
I know that there is magic involved in all this, the magic that comes sometimes in that first encounter where you are thunderstruck, or the magic that develops over time as things open and embrace, or a combination. I am willing to try this- let go of the rails and dive into that unknown place.
Who am I looking for? I am looking for a strong independent woman who has a good sense of herself, (and a sense of humor), a woman who is willing to see and be seen, (that is really important to me, the seeing thing) is emotionally and financially stable and has an ability to communicate well, easily, and intimately.
I was going to put in a quote from Pat Benatar- "I am standing in the middle of the road with my pants behind me." but I just looked up the lyrics and it is: "with my past behind me.." wait... Now I read it is: "with my plans behind me"...
