Date people from Mar Vista, United States. More than likely you and I are simply busy with the daily routines in life trying to make this world a better place for us and humanity, therefore resorting to this might've seem awkward but a reasonable idea nonetheless. I am looking forward to making that special acquaintance that may turn into a great friend and who knows?? hopefully that friend will turn into a love bug ;) As my career takes off I'd like to eventually share the excitement of it with an awesome partner by my side.
ME: I am of Italian-Brazilian and Venezuelan descent, with a Russian name. Very much the definition of citizen of the world. Fluent in Italian, Spanish, English (I think) Portuguese and making a Kinder garden effort to learn French and Russian. I love coastal Cali, been here since my teens giving me the utmost appreciation for the awesome concoction of nationalities found here in the States. I do have a slight accent and I definitely have a "Latin" outlook on life, so ultra right-wing fascists need not to apply. I have had the gratifying and humbling opportunity to travel to a number of countries since my childhood allowing me to learn about different cultures, customs, foods, lifestyles and its people. My job and family takes me all over the globe but I can't get stuck with a tourist (for that, contact Joe Neanderthal Smith on the next profile) I am extremely passionate about causes regarding our planet, green energy and sustainability, for which I devote a lot of my time and energy.
My friends will tell you that I am loyal, caring and fun but definitely blunt, with that being said. I hope that by now, we are asserting ourselves as productive adults so there is no need for drama. I'd like to smile 70% : ) of the time the other 30% I like to sleep. HappYness is a state of mind, I am not driven by $$$ but I am well aware that next to a good heart is the best tool to help those around you that need it the most. I enjoy the finer things in life but realize that the best things, money cannot buy. Every day is gift that's why it's called "the present".
YOU: Intelligent, bright, sparkly, dynamic, athletic, gorgeously comfortable in your own skin with a radiant cute heart-warming smile. : ) Awesome conversationalist that's not afraid to be independent and speak her mind yet compatible with me in a Eco-social-humanitarian level. You can handle volunteering in the "favelas" (slums) in Rio one day and do fashion week in Milano the next.
Hopefully, this gave you a broad idea about me and the type of chemistry that we are both looking for, if you think we have some commonalities to establish a friendship and/or something deep, don't hesitate to drop me a line. Regardless of that, I wish you the best of luck in your search. : )
Meet men and women from Mar Vista, United States. "Smart", "funny", "charismatic", and "passionate". Those would just be a couple of words I'd use to describe... my dad. I sure hope some of him rubbed off on me. But I guess I'll let you be the judge.
First off, I'm a human being, and I'm a pretty damn great one of those. I like my work as a mechanical engineer but I'm active in other areas: graphic design and illustration, music, writing and sports. I do joke around a lot and like to let loose with a little stand up comedy occasionally. I chase the things that scare me. I find a lot of meaning in that last statement. I also love the beauty in nature and all the life around us.
I would love to meet a girl who can enjoy herself where ever she may end up. Someone who can just be a clown when she wants and serious when she needs to be. Someone with her head in reality while not taking life too seriously. Maybe, just maybe, I'll find someone who'll laugh at my stupid humor... If you didn't laugh at my opener it's okay, I said "maybe".
Did I mention must love dogs?
If you're interested, send me an email! I'd rather hear from a woman than just a winking machine.
Cheers,
Evan
Date a woman from Mar Vista, United States. Chemistry" is like Italian wine. Just when you think you've figured out the rules you realize there aren't any. So Cheers to all of us!
I grew up in Northern CA, went to college in L.A., spent the past 9 years in Seattle and, as of 1/1/2012, it's L.A. round 2. My path has been more winding than straight, but I wouldn't change a thing.
Things I do: Manage an amazing new restaurant, help run two non-profit dog rescues. In Seattle I made my living as a stage actress (very wary to admit to being an actor in this town, and not sure whether that will play a part in my life here). I drive a stick shift, think too much, make lists and then lose or forget them, smile at people on the street even if I'm in a snarky mood, break rules when they don't make sense...
Things I am: sensitive, intense, compassionate, curious, honest, energetic, silly, goofy, bright, crude, smart, smart ass, passionate, loving, loving, really loving...
Things I love: wine, thrift stores, live music outdoors, dawdling, smart movies (preferably ones made with little money and lots of heart), lazy mornings, coffee, carbs, red meat, unexpected connections, being generous of spirit, animals, figuring out how to fix stuff, my pup, dirt roads, a great jukebox, classic country music, laughing so hard I snort, people who ask questions, people who really listen, feeling comfortable and confident being myself, seasons, looking amazing in a $20 dress, live sports, going to the gym, gardening, BBQ, punctuation...I recently discovered Kundalini Yoga and I think it might change my life...
Things I'm not so fond of: pretension, f**ked up distribution of wealth, fundamentalists of any kind, greed, make up, malls/department stores/shopping in general unless it's for groceries, techno music, technology problems that can't be fixed by unplugging and plugging back in, oysters/olives/pepperoni/melted cheese (I know, deal breaker for some people), people who talk and don't listen...
I think we're all a little crazy. The trick is finding the crazy that works with your crazy (think Rib Eye and Syrah, or jeans and Chuck Taylors). And then having some crazy sexual attraction to round things out.
I grew up in a small town (Boonville, CA) and it shows. I care more about who I'm with than what we're doing. I've never been motivated by money or status. If you're turned on by a woman with a title and a desk, I'm not your girl. If you're excited by someone whose biggest priority has always been connecting with and taking care of others, you might think I'm swell. I want to be half of a healthy partnership and hopefully have a family (not immediately-don't worry I won't demand that you spooey in a cup on our first date). Sometimes I'm surprised at how conventional I've turned out..
I could list all the usual cliche "wants" in a partner, but the reality is it all comes down to chemistry and there's no logic or reason in that. I'm a sucker for salt and pepper hair, a well trimmed beard and a man in cowboy boots...or a suit...could those work together? I want to create a life with someone, not just live parallel lives. I want to be someoneРІР‚в„ўs biggest fan and get the same in return. I want butterflies. Here's to the adventure.
