I own a company in Manteca and am fairly busy w/ that; I also work a second job as a soccer referee so sometimes my free time is limited.
Relationships are like cars. Everyone loves a new one. You spend a lot of time in it, showing it off to everyone; taking good care of it. Sometimes the luster wears off but with a little care and routine maintenance you can get things running smoothly again. Some people steal them, or take them for 'joy rides'. Sometimes you want to kick the tires but you know that won't help anything.
I come from a good family; I am the product of a very good upbringing; I was raised to be a gentleman and I definitely know how to treat a lady. I will always get your door and I will always pull out your chair at a restaurant; unless we're sitting in a booth. And although I don't want to get hit by a car either, I will always walk w/ you on the street side of the sidewalk.
I am a good man. Kind, funny and intelligent; and thanks to my beautiful mom and my handsome father I don't think I'm the ugliest kid in town...My father and step-mom live out of state but I have a great relationship w/ them. I'm not a 'mama's boy' but I love my mom very much and would do anything for her. She actually works for me as my office manager so I get to spend a lot of time w/ her.
I don't smoke nor do I drink to excess and I don't do drugs of any kind. I've never been arrested, never been to jail, no restraining orders, I've never had Chris Hanson from Dateline NBC show up at my house and I've never been round-up in a prostitution sting.
Although I was married before I don't have any kids (my standard joke answer is 'at least none that I know of'...I haven't been invited to the 'Maury Povich Show' yet...). I love kids. I have three beautiful nieces and a perfect little nephew. I am a terrific uncle and have no doubt that I would have been a great dad. I do have four indoor cats; that alone should scream 'loving and nurturing'...so kind of hoping to meet a woman who isn't allergic and is a cat-person.
I love trips to Tahoe or Napa or Santa Cruz; I think any day you can put your toes in the sand and look at the ocean is a good day. I enjoy a nice evening out w/ drinks, dinner and conversation and maybe a little flirting. I also enjoy a nice evening in cooking together or ordering a pizza and having some beers and watching a movie. Or sometimes just making out on the couch like sophomores on prom night.
I am not a 'fixer-upper'. I am fully self-sufficient; and though I have a housekeeper, I do spot clean my house, cook for myself, do my own laundry and do my own yardwork. However, I do not fully make my bed everyday. I play the piano and the guitar and used to do stand-up comedy back in the 80's amd 90's. I have all my hair and all my teeth and I have been described as devastatingly handsome but you know how mothers can be. I love being out on the water in my beautiful purple ski boat. Purple is my favorite color and I am a huge Minnesota Vikings fan.
I am also a fan of femininity (not in myself, in a woman). I appreciate everything about a woman; I think the more a woman does to be a woman, the better. I'm a sucker for pretty manicures and pedicures and I love tattoos and piercings on a woman. I also know there's a time and a place for everything. I can appreciate a woman who wears a nice dress or skirt w/ heels just as much as a woman who snuggles w/ me on the couch wearing sweat pants and a t-shirt or working in the yard w/ her hair in a pony tail sticking out the back of a baseball cap...that's very sexy...If you've made it this far, thank you. I know it's a little 'wordy'. Also, other than drugs, nothing is a 'deal-breaker'.

Meet men and women from Manteca, United States. Hello! Like most of you I hate this part. But here it goes. I'm a Mom, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Full-time Employed woman. I wish I could say one of those titles are more descriptive of who I am than another, but I guess it depends on the day!
My friends would describe me as a hard worker, prompt, funny, silly, serious, etc. But I think I was raised to have great moral values, high integrity, and am an extremely loyal friend. I expect the same from my friends. With that said, I enjoy banter, can dish it out and take it, and enjoy laughter. Most importantly, I can laugh at myself. I usually do something daily which makes myself laugh. Life is too short to take seriously my friends...enjoy life. Not that I can't be serious...I know there's time to joke and times to be serious, but I always find something to enjoy every day.
I'm at a unique place in my life. I'm close to 50, and single. Who would have thought I'd be here at this point in my life? But it's OK and Iam enjoying myself. I like myself and who I am.
Well, as you can imagine, being a full-time working mom doesn't leave much free time. But as previously mentioned, I enjoy horseback riding...mostly mountains, sometimes Point Reyes area. I take care of my home (well, me and the bankreally own it), and I will tell you I hate yardwork. Just like laundry, never done.
Well, you have a good idea what I'm about, so I though I'd tell you a little about what I'm looking for. To tell you the truth, I don't know. Something serious? Casual? I don't know. I'm not in a hurry for anything, but not ruling anything out either. I don't feel pressure to find my soulmate, I'll guess we'll both know when it happens. Unrealistic? I'd like to think not.
But what I'm looking for: A man who has humor, smiling eyes, gentle, quick wit, who enjoys outdoors as much as I do (at least in the warmer months). A man who is OK to go out or stay in. I'm a low maintenance type of woman, expect the same from my man! LOL One who is comfortable in jeans and t-shirt, but won't gripe if the occasion calls for dressing up. (Well OK, a little griping is OK). One who will hold my hand, be a gentleman, one who respects me and our differences and I would be just as respectful.
Bored yet? OK, just some little things about me: I have cats (yes plural...rescued all of them). I haven't outgrown an occasional bowl of Lucky Charms and Captain Crunch. Love dogs, but just put my dog down several months ago. Just seeing who reads all of this stuff.

As for me I am a "half glass full" type of person. I live by treating someone the way you would like to be treated. I believe in the philosophy of "paying it forward". I find online dating a little awkward. I'd prefer to meet someone in person as oposed to online but I don't like to go to bars to meet people and my job can be a bit isolating. I've gone on one date and it was horrible. Please be honest in your profile. I am a little shy to begin with but once I feel comfortable I'm very personable. I have been told I am easy to talk to. I like to listen to peoples stories. I love to laugh and can find humor in almost any situation.
I would consider myself a country gal (no not a redneck) I like open space, gardening and the quiet. But I
I love to go to the city. I enjoy doing anything outdoors. Taking trips to see this beautiful state is high on my list of things to do. I hike everyday for my job (I'm a Wildlife Biologist) so unless there is a fantastic destination I would suggest doing something else. I prefer to watch sports in person as oposed to on TV. I like to attend at least one game or match for each major sporting event of the season. I love the water, either a lake, river or ocean. I like to fish but very rarely catch anything. Maybe you have some tips. Boating is a great way to spend a day.I'm hoping to go white water rafting this summer. I like to play tennis and ski (water or snow) but it has been a while. I've taken golf lessons and would like to start to play a little more. Interested? I like to ride horses as much as possible. I like all kinds of animals and spend time working with rescues and rehabilitating them. I spend time volunteering for various organization like feeding homeless, working for Hospice organizations and nurseries for children of recovering addicts. Yoga helps me relax
I am looking for someone to marvel at the stars with and be inspired by the sunset. Must love animals and be kind and patient. Someone who is adventurous (I'm a bit of adrenalin addict) and like to stay active. For those down times going to the movies is a good way to relax. Someone to hang around with and be there for the good days as well as the bad.
In finding my new freedom I guess I spent more time celebrating than I realized and need to get back into shape. If you have any suggestions let me know. How about sending me a healthy meal suggestion, that would be great. Additionally I'm starting my own consulting firm any suggestions?
