Date single man from United States. Hello, this is Jerry. I am 667 years old.. I love doing almost everything except jumping out of perfectly good airplanes. I like fishing, camping but not sleeping on the ground, drives almost anywhere
especially to Yosemity Valley in any season, conversation with an
interesting person, good food, decent wine, Italian restaurants especialy those in Rome or in the little hotels dotting the Italian
hills, walking along the Seine, the coast , hot tubs, skinny dipping on summer evenings or in cool mountain lakes, women that know their way around a kitchen, gregarious people,, well behaved dogs, children likewise, gardening with a partner, even at night if it's warm, sunsets over water, woodworking, metalworking, photography, sailing, women that love to garden, and so many more things. I am fairly easy going and am fairly easy to please. I read a lot. enjoy most music but especially classical, country and jazz not necessarily in that order. I like living in the country but love the excitment of San Francisco too. The wharf area and the area around Union Square and the art galleries there. Breakfast at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. Seafood at Scomas on the wharf. Pier 39. Claude Monet and his garden in Giverny, Paul De La Croix, Winged Victory in the Louvre, Ghiradelli Square and chocolate. Love Monterey and the beach. Lets get tan all over. Life is short. Do good. Have some fun. Drink a little wine, make a little spaghetti sauce, buy good bread. Enjoy nature and all there is to see and do in it. Let's get together. She would feel as if she might like to get to know me after having read my description. like some of the things I like. Not necessarily all of them but some of them would be good. She would be a self sufficient person and like to have her own space once in a while. Not hang all over me in a crowd but still like public display of affection.
She would find my profile interesting enough to want to hear more.
I like driving to the coast and taking Highway 1 all the way to
San Francisco, stopping overnight in Monterey for example and
then maybe again in S.F..to see Golden Gate Park and the gardens and arboretum other trips might include Pier 39. I know it is terribly commercial and millions of people but hey, why not, it's fun. Go find a decent restaurant and have some dinner.
Trips to Norther Coast all the way to Crescent City and then on
to Oregon to see the sights camping and hoteling along the way.
I traveled several times to Europe. France, Germany, Italy and
Switzerland. Italy is my fave. The people are great. I visited
Rome, Venice, Siena, Florence. This was on two driving trips
by rental car. I've driven from the Adriatic to the Atlantic
and the invasion beaches of WWII. I brought home the obligatory container of sand from Omaha Beach. If you like museums
and cathedrals it's fantastic. I loved the Louvre, the Museo
Vaticano, the Uffizi and many more. the cathedrales are
wonderful. want to see graffiti from the 12th century. It's great.
Reading is very enjoyable as long as it is not tech manuals.
I like reading Michener. recently finished Covenant. Have read
many of his books. Leon Urus. fantastic novelist. very popular
in the 70s and 80s. The Bible esp the parts in red. History
non-fiction, lots about WWII. and our Civil War. I had a number
of relative die in that one. They are all listed on the Memorial
in my home town in Missouri. I once owned Audobons 1/4
elephant book of birds. I think it wound up in show and tell
with the kids long ago.
I want to travel the U.S. more and maybe Alaska too but it's
no fun alone.
The woman I am searching for must have a good sense of humor. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff. Hey, isn't there
a book by that title.
Can you come out and play
