Because I have been very busy with my schooling and jobs, and at the same time I have been picky about who I date. In my teens, 20s, and 30s I was very shy and picky at the same time and this lead me to simply stay single. I have been a High school teacher for 17-years, and I have coached two sports over the years at a very competitive level for the schools that I have taught at. I also love to snow ski during my winter vacations and weekends. My activities that I liked to do over the years where not conducive to meeting women. You know, weekend warrior, hunt, fish, ski, mountain-bike, rock climbing, and long distance cycling. All of theses activities and my teaching and coaching jobs kept me away from women. I really did not know how to interact with women because I was too busy playing and having the time of my life. I came close to getting married and was in a 4.5-year relationship with a woman who wanted me to marry her but it didn't work out, because her daughters wrecked 6-cars in 5-years. There was too much drama and problems from her daughters that was never any of my business.
I haven't been a weekend warrior since I was in my 20"s, but I cant give up exercising and snow ski when time permits. Exercising keeps us physically and mentally healthy.
