I live in the mountains above Los Gatos. My house is on the edge of a forest, so it is quiet and peaceful with great stargazing and bird-watching. I am currently remodeling the kitchen and floors, so it's a little dusty at the moment...
I grew up in the Bay Area, and although I have lived in other cities and other countries, I feel a special connection to Northern California. The dense Redwood Forests and rugged coastline make this a place that always inspires me. My family and closest friends are mostly in San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley, so I often find myself in those cities for weekend excursions.
I love to travel. When traveling, I tend to avoid the tourist spots and seek out the smaller, more traditional towns and villages. Experiencing different cultures leads me to revisit my own values, and often leaves me with a slightly changed perspective on life...I like that sensation. I also follow international politics (NPR and KPFA addict), and do my best to have a low impact on our planet.
I am looking for a long term relationship. I'm a calm, stable and reliable man with a lot to give and share. I want to spend the rest of my life with one woman, and bring out the best in each other. I'd like to meet a woman who is passionate and creative...and who also desires a loving and supportive relationship. It would be nice if we shared some of the same interests, but that's not necessary; I will happily embrace her interests. I don't "turn that frown upside down" but when life hands me lemons, I say: "Hey, free lemons". So let's wait in that traffic jam together, it will go just a little bit quicker.
