I am quite happy with my life -I'm just missing my Romeo. We are all romantic, spontaneous, fun, adventurous, but each to a different degree, so, i won't speak to that here. Waht I can say is that I don't have a long wish list of requirements (that no-one-single-human-can-fill) or prerequisites. I care that you work or have some source of income, and that you live within your means. That care about yourselft and your family. That you are there for your kids, if any, even if or when they are not very lovable. Our net worth, should be measured by how many lives you have impacted in a positive way, how many we have touched with your words, demeanor, and kindness, how many people will really us when we are gone.
While opposites attract, it would be great to find someone with similar core values. We don't have a be a mirror image of each other, If you don't like art, I can go to the museum with my daughter/girlfriend. A few separate interest are not an issue, and can be healthy, as long as we have a meeting of the minds on the big issues, have similar idelaogies, and compliment each other. I believe in having respect for the feelings and beliefs of others. I can be a bit reserved, it all depends on what the situation is, why i am there, and what i want to accomplish. I can be a leader but I also know how to follow and be part of the team.
I don't see the need to lie, it just complicates things and nothing good can come of it. At work, I'm a contract writter (federal Regs.); I was previously a court interpreter. Most people asume I'm about 40; I have lots of energy, sometimes my kids can keep up with me, other times I just leave them behind (not kidding you). The part time job, is mentally stimulating -i can take it or leave it; I don't like what it does to my tax liability. Hobbies: travel is good, alone or in a group; currently in the middle of getting involved in new things. My kids generate no drama for me. I dont have any piercings and/or tats: no surgical enhancements. I am my favorite cook; Mexican food my fav., but I keep it healthy. I know how to sew, quilt, make jewelry, care for plants, but i rather play. Those activities don't get in the way, i'm self sufficient. Currently undertaking a study program for some professional exams, in preparation for what may come next.
About the guy? oh goodness, I can tell you I like the way smart looks on a person; and how wise sounds when it speaks. How a kind heart delivers the right words to someone who is having a tough time. Well grommed is good. Looks can only carry us so far. More than the wrapping on the package I am interested in the contents. Someone I can become friends with before anything else. I believe it is important to see you for what you now, not what I hope you will become. I would rather share the journey with you, than anyhting else. I don't feel I need expensive things/gifts from anyone, I have plenty of stuff., my question is, would you be willing to give the valuable gift of time? I'd like to be there for the good times and the not so good; I'd be the one to help you care for your elderly parents when they are frail and can no longer care for themselves; I believe it is our duty to give back to those who helped us become who we are.
