My godson who I adore (he is in one of the photos) lives in London so needless to say I am there as often as I can get there.
I used to be a private chef/caterer and now I just cook for friends and family (and a pro sailing team)..I'm really into good food; cooking it, learning about it and eating it.
I am probably the only person in Los Angeles that really doesn't love the weather here. Weather changes; its always summer and 75 here. I am starting to like it here, now and this year we are actually having seasons and it feels sooooo good. I recently moved downtown and I have to say its the best I've felt living here.
Originally I am from the east coast and I've lived in Sausalito, San Francisco, Sonoma County, Amsterdam and now here. I suppose I just like cooler climates. You really can't beat a lazy rainy day reading or watching a great film with your guy in front of a fire with a glass of wine.
I've great friends and family that keep me very busy when I'm not working and I also like doing things on my own. A 2 hour Sunday brunch - yes please!
I'm not your typical American as neither are most of my friends. If you are that way we'd probably get along well.
I work for a commercial developer in development/construction. We all work extremely hard and are oddly busy unlike most people in my industry. It's a strange job for a female, I think, but I really like it.
I suppose my work is a lot like cooking except after the dinner or party the creation is gone and buildings stay around for a very long time.
I'm blessed with family, friends and work that I love and it would be nice to share this with a wonderful man that can also offer and want the same. I like intelligent, well traveled men. Age is less significant. At least my height or taller. Young at heart, old soul type perhaps. Quick wit and curious too. Someone I can share conversation about latest restaurants, current affairs, future trends or just silly gossip with. Or doesn't mind that I talk about these things. Someone that has his own interests and career but also want to share his life with someone.
I like to laugh, a lot, and I'm realizing that my humor does not translate on this site, but believe me it is there. Often maybe to much for some...
