Date a woman from United States. I belong to a Pirate Renaissance Fair Guild. I love Renaissance Fairs, Pirate Fairs and SCA events. I like learning about Mideval and the renaissance. I love learning about the history of pirates, and studying specific topics for my pirateprivateer character that I play at ren fairs.
I like going to the movies. Some of my favorites are Blade, Batman the Dark Knight, Little Nicky, Boondock Saints, and the Dark Crystal, just to name a few. I like eating out, especially Greek, Japanese and Italian, but I'm open to anything. I enjoy music and concerts. Some of my favorite bands are Type O Negative, U2, Depeche Mode, Cr?xshadows, Black Sabbath and Ozzy, just to name a few. I like listening to just about anything but rap. I like animals and great with children(worked with them for about 14 years, everything from Nanny and private tutor to preschool teacher).
My favorite books of all time are "Tales from the Arabian Nights" and "Dune" by Frank Herbert. Unfortunately I don't have much time for reading other than my text books. I'm going to college right now to earn my BS in Psychology to be a children's therapist. I love trying new things and am open for new experiences.
I like people who are funny and fun to be with, but who I can have a serious conversation with too. I would like to meet a guy who is close to my age or older. I prefer men who are on the big side, extra pounds are cool with me, but I'm open to meeting anyone who has a good sense of humor! I don't want to be contacted by users without a picture, that's not because looks are important to me. It's because every user without a pic that has contacted me has either been hiding from their wife,S.O. or has been trying to avoid the plethora of women they have lied to. Well...you know what they say...a few bad apples, LOL! But in reality,I am looking for a nice easy going man, who gets a long with a variety of people. A guy who is open minded and tolerant of different life styles, and is adaptable and flexible. This is the way I have been described by friends and family, and I would like someone who is also like that. This is what's important to me. I don't care if you are a hill giant or little person, bald as an eagle or a wookie from Star Wars, I just want someone with THAT kind of personal traits. Good looks to me are the icing not the cake, LOL!
I know that the list of things that are women's least favorite topics to talk about has Sci Fi on it, but I actually love Sci Fi. Big nerd here...sorry, got it from my dad, LOL! I love super hero, action and adventure movies most of all. I loved the Avengers, and get ridiculously excited when a new super hero movie comes out! Ok...hiding my nerdy face now, LOL!
