I'm pretty much a happy person whose always smiling and laughing at the simple things in life, BIG or small. Why worry about today when its tomorrow that counts. Just like writing this profile summary about me, Ugh! What I mean is planning an ideal trip takes alot of effort but in the end the trip bombs. Sometimes If the weather permits is nice and sunny out then I'm Queing it up or in the kitchen Slavin over a HOT stove. I get very creative when it comes to cooking for family,friends and guests. I'm like an Iron Chef when you got a stomach Growler on ya! I make a mean bowl of Top Ramen soup. ha! ha! Believe it or not, For such a BIG guy I am. I'm a bit CAMERA SHY! I tend to bobble and weave from the lens its a bad habit I have. Do you have the cure for it, let's try it out together? At work they nickname me "Kung Fu Panda" Gee I wonder why? But for REAL, I still believe in "HONESTY, TRUST, FAITHFULNESS" in a true lasting relationship. That's why WE ALL patiently wait for it to happen.
What I'm looking for in todays Modern Cultural Woman? Its really kinda hard to choose from there's so many choices. Let's start off with she must have an awesome Charismatic charming personality which makes her so appealing. Personality over Looks, First. If she has then both. Then I'm totally Stunned. A grandeur Lovely smile that can make me go in Awwwl! I'm all about a beautiful smile, it just makes me forget about everything else around me plus many other things on my mind. I do appreciate a woman who knows what she wants in her personal life. I don't really care for Flakes, Bimbos, Wanna Be's, Gold Diggas, or the Status quote types. So unappealing! I know what I want,relationship wise, but seems as though I've never been in the right position or had the right set of circumstances to find it, so I thought I give this a try. I am old school to the core, bought my first computer this year, I don't understand the attraction to Facebook and putting all your personal business out there for everyone to see. At this point in life we've all had our ups and downs, good experiences and bad. Hopefully you're a better person because of them. I know I am. I'm not your typical male nor do I choose to be. I like to be spontaneous as well as make plans. And if plans are made I’m flexible to last minute changes…unless I’ve committed myself and others are depending on me.
I used to be a workaholic but thankfully found a balance. Today I live a simple life; work no longer consumes the greater part of my energy. I enjoy the slower pace of a more leisure lifestyle. I'm financially secure (you should be also), retirement driven instead of career focused, and intentionally minimize the stress in my life. I try to associate with positive energized individuals and minimize my exposure to people with negative attitudes and clingy personalities.
I like working with my hands as well as my brain. I hate paying people to do things I can do myself but also know my own limitations. My past history includes building houses, mechanic, electronic technician, and database programmer. Today I work as a Network Engineer/System Administrator but still enjoy getting my hands dirty doing physical work, landscaping, maintaining my own vehicles, etc.
I enjoy being out in nature whether it's walking, running, hiking, or cycling. I'm always up for a road trip to some place specific or nowhere in particular. I'm getting more serious with my photography so going someplace with photographic opportunities is a definite plus. I like learning and engaging in new activities so teach me something I don't know.
I don't spend much time watching TV and tend to watch/listen to the news when it’s on. I utilize my computer often but am not into playing video/computer games. I do like movies and often rent DVDs: drama, suspense, action, factual or inspired by actual events, and comedy are my main choices.
I'm not a stranger in the kitchen but by no means consider myself a chef. I survive off my own cooking but am better at baking than preparing a meal. I have no problem following a recipe but after the first time I may have to...ummmm, modify it. I'm all about one-on-one time so playing in the kitchen together could be fun. I make my own jam and experiment with different fruit combinations: strawberry, kiwi, and blackberry for example. Mix it with Stonefield organic yogurt and it's much better than any of the store bought varieties.
I've had my share of being the one to constantly initiate and give. I have no desire to repeat past experiences. If you're a loving, giving person who takes care of yourself mentally and physically then we have a starting point to expand from.
