Date single man from California, United States. I have lived in many parts of the world, Western Pacific, Asia, Alaska and travelled many other. Raised kids in semi rural Southern California and moved to the Central Coast in 2006. I have a wide range of acceptance of other cultures and people and love new experiences and learning from them. I have an insatiable curiousity for just about everything in life.
Cerrently I am living near Vandenberg AFB where I work. I lived in Atascadero for years while married but moved to this Lompoc location after the seperation because it is close to work. I like my work and see it as a fun part of my life, usually. Not really sure where I want to live in the CentralCoast area but somewhere between Cambria and Santa Barbara. I do like to be near the ocean. Divorce papers should be filed soon and then it seems Ill be a legally seperated person for the next six months.
The scent and taste of well prepared food enjoyed with good company is very special to me. A snifter of VSOP Cognac or a glass of very fine smoky single malt scotch in front of a fireplace after dinner, with that good company would be treasure. I am not a snob and do have a wide range of appreciation, but given a choice, why not go with what you like...in everything.
I love the various landscapes we are blessed with here and marvel at how they are never the same with changing light brought on by the seasons or just the time of day. The feel to the air in the outdoors can do more to heal the soul than just about anything. Travelling around the local area is an adventure. I am not an artist but appreciate those with talent in that area.
My views are mostly liberal and that comes from a sense that we need to care for those that cannot care for themselves for any reason.
I like good conversation on a variety of subjects. I love it when something strikes me funny and I have to laugh out loud. Not enough of that in life! I am intelligent, well mannered, considerate, kind, can dress up or down and enjoy either.
I hope to find someone that has similar feelings about life and would enjoy some company, going out and getting to know one another.
