I'm an easy going guy, calm and confident. I love to laugh and the sound of laughter! I've traveled all over the world and have had many adventures. From teaching English in Rome to being a disc jockey in Manila. I've even cleaned hen houses in Israel! I served in Southeast Asia while in the Air Force.

I also enjoy photography as a hobby. I currently like photographing points of interest (to me) in the east county and I keep a camera handy.
I like trains (there, I said it) and have since I was a kid. I like visiting railway museums in the local area (PSRM & OERM). They are pretty large and involve a lot of walking and usually some interesting photography opportunities.

Date people from United States. The accomplishments that I am most proud of are my two adult children. Kristina and Steven, ages 31 and 27. We struggled for some time, moving from California, to Arizona, to Texas and winding up in Virginia where they and their families now reside. Both kids are firmly grounded in reality and devoted to their children. My profession took the family from the west coast to the east coast over a three year time span. These were tough times for the family; however, the kids came through this ordeal much stronger as a result of the challenges they overcame.
Later in life, I returned back to San Diego in 2006 to care for my Mom. She was 83 when I arrived and all of her friends and relatives here had passed on. I was able to give her comfort and keep her safe until she died in February of 2011. I believe this is my second highest accomplishment. I was fortunate to return the love she gave me after my birth. She never suffered and was never alone.
Briefly, I am looking for a lady who is honest and genuine. She must have a well developed since of humor and does not rely exclusively on drama to achieve attention. I am not perfect, however, I am honest and respectful to everyone I know.
