I have done what I needed to do, and now it is time for me to do what I want to do. I am a social worker by career, a caregiver by nature, but also like to try new things. I have been told that I am a high energy person. I enjoy people who are intelligent, outgoing, and are passionate about life. I enjoy reading, spending time doing volunteer work, visiting with my grandkids, and taking time for myself. I volunteer my time to help patients who are in Hospice, and help with support groups with the survivors. Important work to the patient and families.
I am very connected to my family and would like you to join me in mine, and I in yours. I can do jeans and a t shirt to a LBD in zero to 60 seconds. In the last twelve months I have traveled to Maui, Key Largo, taken a cruise to the Western Caribbean, scuba dove in Roatan and Cozumel, traveled twice to Wisconsin (nothing to write home about but there is a story there). I took my first intro to flying lesson and now I have a new goal to work on! The balance of life is helping others who are less fortunate than ourselves, and also enjoying the time one has on this earth to recharge your batteries.
I enjoy being outdoors and am amazed at the beauty that there is. I grew up by the coast so feel at peace when by water, whether the ocean, a mountain stream or a lake.

I have a very satisfying life but imagine it could be even better with someone to spend it with. I am family oriented...in fact family means everything to me! I am looking for someone who will enhance my life. My perfect mate would be someone who shares many of the same things I like but also appreciates doing his own thing and accepting that I will too. He must not be needy or controlling but simply a best friend and confidant. As I already mentioned, spending time with family and close friends is the most enjoyable part of my life. I have grown twin sons who mean the world to me. They have become wonderful young men and make me very proud. I am a high school dance, aerobics and physical education teacher, a group exercise instructor at a club, and workout nearly everyday, sometimes multiple times a day (when I'm on school breaks).
