Thanks for stopping by. I've been on various sites but Match.com seems to be one of the most professional. I'm currently going to school full time, with my major being Computer Business Technology. I'm nearing completion with that so that is something that I'm proud of. I was raised in a military environment so I have been blessed with having the oppurtunity to travel. In fact, people often mistake me for being in the service as I have some of those characterstics, lol however they aren't so far fetched as I have been considering joining the Air Force. I have a few pets, in which I've brieflly mentioned below, and hint hint, they are a great ice breaker. I was raised in the church, so that is an area of my life that I'm dedicated to as well.
As to what I'm looking for...I'm looking for someone who is also into education. Education is one of the things that is important in my family. In life I believe that one should never stop learning, as that is truly the key to success. Someone who is an animal lover, as my pets truly do make up a big part of my life. I'd probably have to say that the most important quality that I'm looking for is someone who also attends church and is a Christian. I did mention other beliefs in my profile that I am open to as well. =) So I could go on paragraph after paragraph, but I think that the attributes I've listed are a good way to beging a conversation. I decided to try meeting people online and seeing where it leads me. I just moved to a small town and I have found it gets a little harder to meet people once you are out of school, so thought I would explore my options. I am looking for a real relationship, not just a hook up (thought I would add this since there seems to be some confusion about it.)
My students are always making my day and I have a job that I love. My education accomplishments are something that I am proud of, but I know that I have been very lucky to have the oppotunities that have been given to me. I have the most amazing parents and they are a true inspiration. Family is something that is important to me, because I have a really great one. My mom is a crazy ginger-kid and my dad is a "pulled himself up by the bootstraps and did something with his life" kinda person. He came from very little and made himself a doctor. The medical kind, not the "I found a place online and now have a PhD in underwater basket weaving" kind. They have supported me and I know that I am very lucky to have them.
I have been riding horses since I was a child (7) and it is still one of my favorite things to do. In fact, I would say that on the back of a horse is my favorite place to be. Being outdoors is a highlight of my life and I try to get out as much as possible. I like camping, hiking, skiing, quading, and all that jazz. I ski in the winter and try and make a few trips to the slopes each year. Water is my friend and I swim like a fish, as in, I will go swimming in freezing water just because I really like swimming.
Honesty is something that I beleive in and I am very honest (sometimes to a fault). I really enjoy putting my foot in my mouth (which I think I just did by admiting how honest I am?). That being said, I love making people laugh and laughing myself. Life is an adventure and is really amazing and hilarious!
