I have not reached out to many women but have been surprised the criticism of the lack of diversity in my pictures and that they do not show my eyes. I decided to get on Match on a whim and happened to be at a friends house in the mountains so we took some shots that day. Do to my stage in life there are not that many recent pictures of me around. I am not sure how much time I have on Match but I am likely not to renew so I may not get around to putting more on in time. I have no interest in being a Match-Pro. For many years I have been working and saving and planning for the future. I saw my parents grow old with nothing and swore it would not happen to me. Recently, coming home to an empty house on a nightly basis, I came to wonder if it might not be time to lighten up a little and find someone to share with.
For the last few months I have actually ventured out a couple times. Trouble is the parties I go to are all couples having fun and I feel out of place. So I thought about bars and health clubs and the like. I have been going to a club but I really cannot see myself imposing on any of the ladies I see. It seems rude to me to bother them. (not to mention I am years out of practise.) I toss words around in my head that I might try and it makes me laugh at how ridiculous it all seems. Bars- forget it. I used to feel weird there 20-30 years ago. Besides in my line of work I can not afford a DUI and I would need a couple shots to get the nerve up to approach someone. I am a very monogamous person and want one good woman in my life.
