Date men and women from Lakeport, United States. IWorld traveller, educated, well mannered, somewhat formal, honest (most of the time: e.g. "You may well think that, I couldn't possibly say."), sophisticated, inquiring, loyal, sensitive, affectionate, compassionate, libidinous (but not a Don Juan),cheerful, cosmopolitan, mechanical, artistic, addicted to New Yorker cartoons, addicted to animated feature films and Wizard of Oz and Blues Brothers and Yojimbo, would like to be as versatile as: Leonardo - da Vinci - NOT de Caprio?
Negative bits? There are plenty so I'll just say I will answer any personal question openly and honestly - without embellishment or rationalizing anything and hope that you don't recoil from me.
I am comfortable eating with the complete array of silver and crystal service as well as eating poi and hangi pork with my fingers. And I remember to dine lightly before a formal dinner or performing arts event in order to be able to fully relish the special cuisine of the dinner/lunch or performance.
Can turn my head (and not my torso) in a tux - but also quite comfortable in a pareu, wet suit, or ski clothes or my birthday suit (but not where a ski suit would be more prudent!) .
Unimpressed by Guide Michelin knives and forks - I enjoy cuisine that I enjoy (too much, sometimes : ( puts me in the "Above average" size alarmingly quickly.)
Places on my bucket list: Mongolia, Bhutan, India, Kerguelen Islands, driving and camping around the entire Australian coast, Samoa, making a documentary in the 14 inhabited Cook Islands (I have 11 to go), Fez, Berlin, El-Amarna (Akhetaten), Petra (following in my Grandmother's footsteps), Ankor Wat, Beijing, Xian, Mt Rushmore, Pictou, Nova Scotia (birthplace of my Grandfather), Hokkido, Siberia, Kodiak Island, Antarctica, Kauai, Buenos Aires, Yucatan, all of Polynesia (before it submerges forever - or I do).
Meet people from Lakeport, United States. Pretty much set in my ways, but not set in stone.
Open minded to other opinions, but it takes facts to change mine.
At this stage of my life I am more interested in a persons mind than their body.
