Date someone special from California, United States. I am what I would find most attractive in a partner. "I'm good enough and smart enough and daw gone it people like me." You can take me anywhere and I will get along just fine. I'm not a loner, just satisfied with myself. I thoroughly enjoy brisk repartee, or quiet time with the one I love. My greatest enjoyment is laughing. I like to take it easy.
I like to work and love the job that I have had for the last twenty years. It's my fourth career. Previously, I was a Naval Aviator, company builder and consultant.
Recently, my right arm retired. I would appreciate a right hand woman.
I'm a traveler and fortunately able to travel when I wish. As geography to call home, the OC is hard to beat. I love finding a great spot and hanging out for while as well as a self directed tour. River boat/barge cruises sound attractive. "Roughing it" isn't on my agenda.
Wine and good food with friends is the focus of my social life. Museums, concert halls and comedy clubs are attractive to me. I love dancing.
I'm not interested in "elevator dating" (3 minutes /-). If you would like to share a bottle of wine over a dinner on me, let's talk.
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. It's hard to sum up who I am, I have so many interests. OK, for a start, I love to cook, as well as dining out. Live theater is always fun, but I also love to just spend the day investigating new areas, just hanging out as the kids say. I'm an artist, not a serious one, just something I love to do. I'm extremely good at painting the interior of my house. I just moved to this area and I'm in the process of painting the entire house.
I love to garden, I also love to shop. Sorry but I have to admit it, I do love to shop. I moved to this area to be closer to my son and daughter-in-law and two very adorable grandchildren, ages 3 and 6. If you haven't guessed already I'm extremely active, and my health is excellent. I don't have a religion, I just believe in being a good person and basically living by the golden rule. I've always had a very upbeat, happy view of life.
Honestly I don't have a "goal" in mind by dating. I'm open to just a friendship, maybe someone to have some fun adventures with? If it develops into something else, that will happen in it's own time.
I grew up fishing with my Dad on the ocean; but I would love to learn how to fly-fish.
