I have been fairly close to home caring for a fragile but very sweet, martini drinking mother-in-law who just passed 2 months ago. It was my privilege to care for her at home. Retiring 6 months ago to care for her was the best plan. I'm opening a new chapter in my life.
To improve fitness I tried our local club and explored the wonders of the gym - found it to be both exhausting and boring. Eager to find more fun I tried ice skating - a great alternative for a once a week adventure. I try to take an hour walk a week and only visit the gym once a week.
Politics - More conservative
I've attended Saddleback Church for the past year and have enjoyed messages delivered by pastor Risk Warren. The name on the church door is not as important as the relationship with the Lord.
Sports -I would enjoy a football or baseball game or hockey game, but a boxing or wrestling match could be done with another guy friend. I've tried golf and could take some lessons.
A new computerized sewing machine is my newest challenge. Other than this, most electronic things are a challenge to operate optimally.
Being a world traveler is not a goal but would like to see a more places - Europe in particular.
In general, each of us is responsible for their personal happiness & should enjoy some time alone but sharing joys and blessings with another like minded person would be a great balance. Basically, IРІР‚в„ўm a light hearted but warm & caring person. Although I have recently become a grandmother, many are surprised that I look younger than my actual age.
