The first thing that you need to know about me is that I'm a gamer. Though I can be fun and outgoing I'm definitely a little on the introverted side. The "I'll come home from a party and simply want to lock myself in a room" sort of type. That's not to be confused with the "Won't put down the game and simply not go the the party at all" type. Gaming is that all important recharge my social batteries outlet for me.
Outside of gaming a few of my hobbies include archery, long walks, billiards, maintaining a tropical fresh water fish tank, and I keep a small garden of potted plants.
More socially however, I enjoy going to the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego, sampling many different beers and wines, watching sports, going to conventions (particularly Comic-con), and random 2 in the morning outings to the local Denny's to play chess.
I recently finished an Associate's Degree from Coleman University (transferring from Grossmont Community College) in Computer Information Systems Programming.
I'm currently employed full time with Teradata Corporation. They're a company that specializes in Database Warehousing which is a particular nitch of programming that I'm really interested in.
A few quick confessions:
I consider myself to be a reasonably intelligent guy, however, common sense easily eludes me on a day to day basis. The jury is still out as to whether this is because I have a lot on my mind 24-7 between work, friends, and general day-to-day life or if I'm just a gigantic derp sometimes. Perhaps you might care to be the judge?
I really have a thing for redheads. And it carries many ongoing inside jokes in my social group. If you're a redhead, please for the love of god message me! If not, I wouldn't exactly call myself closed-minded about other hair colors... as long as my drooling over people like Felicia Day doesn't bother you, you're okay in my book! :3
I want to date and meet new people. I'm kind of a nerd (in case that wasn't clear) so if you are too that's a HUGE plus. However, I wont go so far as to say I'm looking for any specific type of person. All you need is an open mind.
