Meet single man from United States. First…. Hello and know my wish is that as you read this, you are smiling and having a wonderful day.
Me, well my thinking about who and what “I” am is not a function of habit or history… it is more rooted in consideration that I am a part of an extraordinary living system – the same as you and everything around us.
The more traditional labels/descriptors that describe this life to date are; Father of three amazing tall blonde gorgeous children, Ex-husband of a beautiful and talented woman who during our marriage discovered she loved women, Son - of living loving supportive parents, Executive - who has lived and worked all over the world, Student - currently a candidate for a masters in organizational psychology at Columbia, Athlete - who skies, surfs (poorly), swims, hikes, rides (motor and peddle), yoga’s, et al, Chef – attended the CIA.. the kitchen/cooking for friends and family is my therapy, Contemplative – studied at Naropa and Shambhala with a practice that needs a little more attention, Fallible – no kidding… I get it, Masculine – all that goes with it.
Anyway you should know I love life and ALL that it brings. I live in NY, Boulder and La Jolla… work, school and family are spreading me pretty thin but this is just a moment in time and like everything else, will change. How about you... how do you choose to spend your time?
You, that’s simple… dishonesty and the victim thing are non-starters. I’m just not equipped nor do I want to change or “heal” you. Other than that, just show up as and who you are. Share your perspectives and in doing so, make for me something new out of something old.
Did I mention passion… what a great word to describe so many things.
